Ein wirklich zuckersüßes Cover ist dieses hier. Zu sehen sind hier Robin Reh und seine Mutter Mama Reh, wie sie einträchtig beieinander stehen. Das Bild vermittelt so viel Liebe, dass man einfach dahin schmelzen würde. Außerdem zeigt es bereits welche schöne und detailreiche Qualität die Illustrationen haben.



Eigener Eindruck:

Robin Reh ist langweilig beim Spiel vor seiner Heimat und so bittet er seine Mutter mit ihm die Welt zu erkunden. Das ist interessant und sie entdecken viele neue Dinge, doch dann weiß Robin nicht mehr, wie er allein nach Hause kommen würde und so zeigt seine Mutter ihm geduldig, wie er sich wieder an den Weg erinnern kann.



Die Geschichte von Robin Reh und seiner Mama fand ich ja wirklich so herzerwärmend, dass ich vor Begeisterung gleich noch einmal durch diese tolle Geschichte blättern musste. Ich bin ja zur Zeit auf der Suche nach wirklich tollen Kinderbüchern und das hier ist eine richtige Perle. Nicht nur, dass alles sehr harmonisch zugeht, die Sätze sind einfach geschrieben und lassen sich schön vorlesen, die Seiten sind ganz wunderbar gestaltet und die Werte und Lehre die hier vermittelt werden sind wirklich klasse. Das ist genau das, was ein gutes Kinderbuch für mich haben muss. Neben der Geschichte kann man auf den Seiten mit den Kleinen noch viele andere Dinge entdecken. Schade finde ich jedoch, dass die Seiten recht dünn sind und so leider bei ungestümen Kindern wohl kein langes Leben haben. Trotzdem bekommt das Buch von mir volle Punktzahl, weil es wirklich so süß ist, dass man Karies davon bekommen könnte.

This is a sweet story about a mommy deer and a little deer. The little deer is tired of playing around his home. He wants to explore and see more of the world. Mommy deer decides to let him explore. The little deer faces a number of challenges that seem scary to him. Mommy deer gives him a little nudge, encourages him to face his fears, and warns him to be cautious, but still allows him to do it on his own. They finally reach a spot, play for a little bit, and decide it's time to go home. On the way home the mom encourages him to find his way back using the same way he got there. The same challenges he faced are now easy. There is a little humor when the little deer tells the mommy deer the same things that she told him on the way there. This story is a sweet little adventure with a family with nothing but a good storyline and a sweet ending. The illustrations in this book are pretty simplistic. It looks like colored pencil was used, the way the illustrator showed his fears, and you could feel the warmth when he succeeded in the task he was completing. The illustrator also took the time to make sure that the reader could feel the love illuminating through the pages.

Yes, another sweet HEB children's book. It made me chuckle a little, the difference in the mommy book. Mommy deer is reminding little dear to be careful, don't get stuck, etc. (: Little deer wants to explore, so mommy deer lets him, but is not far behind, encouraging as well as cautioning, while allowing him room to grow and learn to be independent. As little deer begins to panic about being lost, mommy deer reassures him and nudges him to solve the problem. At the end little deer still needs his mommy and says how he loves her.

This was another Deuteronomy 6-esque book, though not specifically Christian, implementing biblical principles.

It's cute and the illustrations are good. It also has a little gem mothers can pull out about watching over their children if the adult reads close enough.
