Okay, second level reading book. There were quite a few of bigger words that were not as common. My 5 yr old liked it but had a harder time with some of the words. Not sure it was an adequate level 2. It could have just been that some of the difficult words were unusual names of sci fi characters.

Any Star Wars book is extremely popular, but this particular one leaves a reader desiring more. Because it is a leveled reader the sentences are simple and the vocabulary is limited. If you're interested in Star Wars and you're a beginner reader, you'll enjoy this book. Based on the cartoon series, the reader will follow Anakin through an adventure based on the movie. A good book for beginner readers.

I kind of like it and I kind of don't. Anakin is cool but the girl is creepy.

This story is a simple, and easy to read tie in to the movie. Unfortunately, star wars is to cool to take being simplified well.
