Ruth Barbara Rendell, Baroness Rendell of Babergh, CBE, who also wrote under the pseudonym Barbara Vine, was an acclaimed English crime writer, known for her many psychological thrillers and murder mysteries and above all for Inspector Wexford.
I read about half of this. It was okay, but I felt some of the chapters became rather long winded without really getting into a better history of Suffolk. The pictures were hit or miss. Some were excellent and gave great details of old homes and structures. Others were grainy, poor quality, and something that I could have done better.
