This is a delightful, little book with a few short stories for toddlers (probably 2-5 years). It has some very cute illustrations and cute stories about a game with Daddy, a postal letter, a lost yellow ball, Billy and Cuddles, Tomboy Tina, and Bedtime.

Fun In The Sun

There are six very colorful stories with short sentences. The stories are short enough for your two year old. The stories are about things a two year old would be involved with. One of the stories is called
"The Yellow Squishy Ball". Ned and Lola lost their yellow squishy ball. They looked in the garden and found smelly cabbage. They looked in the shed and found spiders. Running away, they found their ball and played and played.
" Tomboy Tina". She likes being a tomboy but her mom wants her to wear a dress.
Stories two year olds can relate to.
I borrowed this book on a Kindle Unlimited website and so can you.

Six short stories that focus on the interests and abilities of toddlers and preschoolers. These can be read separately and could work well in a circle time learning activity

Themes include playing hide and seek, fear of strangers, playing in puddles, lost and found, and individual differences. The rhyming verse makes it fun to read aloud. Children also learn about numbers and colors.

This book is part of an extensive series meeting the needs of young children.

Great stories for the little ones

I thought the stories were well phrased for the little people.
It has great colors. Fun stories to keep the little ones engaged in the stories because they were all just the right amount of time.

Cute stories

My two year old liked the stories, but there were a few typos and they were very simple. I got this for free, but would have been upset if I had paid. Amy the lion is illustrated as a lion instead of a lioness as well.

Not very engaging

We found these stories to be only so-so. The grandchildren were only briefly interested and ready to pick something different after only a few pages.

Quite popular with my two year old. As a parent I wasn't blown away by the quality of the illustrations - it's often quite hard to tell what animal a particular character is. There is also a rather dodgy story about a tomboy animal who is persuaded to get to a half-way house between dungarees and sparkly dresses - because it's vital that girls dress like girls and boys dress like boys, right?!!!
