Given the original publication date, much of the material related to modern prophecies, or comparisons to current day (2011) , turned out to be very inaccurate or never came to be. Granted Smith wasn’t trying to predict the future, he was still incredibly impassioned to make claims that were more reflective of his political and cultural biases rather than solid biblical truths. There were a few highly suspect claims about certain behaviors or actions by “certain people” but gave no evidence or references. I have great respect and admiration for the late Pastor Smith but he, like me, is just a man and easily susceptible to influences from outside of the church. It’s the same thing we see in many well meaning evangelicals today whose political beliefs are intertwined with biblical teachings.
