Spirit Junkie: A Radical Road to Discovering Self-Love and Miracles
In this hip self-transformational book, Bernstein shows how to make happiness a way of life and shares the life-changing lessons that she has lived and learned in the hope that other young women will be guided to do the same. Spirit Junkie shows readers how to tap into their own spirit in their search for happiness.

PS. I got so sick of her overuse of the term "~ing"

I first learned about Gabby through her show on HayHouseRadio.com. Immediately, I was skeptical. I bristle at anyone marketed as "the new ___ for a generation." But, something stuck with me and I kept listening to her. Listening to her eventually lead to me reserving "Spirit Junkie" from my local library. And let me tell you all, when Gabby states that your "~ing" leads you what you need, it's true.

I like gabby. I respect the work that she does and I think it's great she has helped to create a shift in making meditation, spiritually and prayer more accessible and more mainstream, I suppose.
This book has some great things to take away from it, that can be summed up with: do all things with love.

At the same time, while telling her story under the highlight ...more

I will also admit to being a teensy bit disappointed.
In this book, Bernstein talks about her life changes and experiences as a result of her work in "A Course in Miracles." I think she tried just a bit too hard to be hip and cutesy with her own take on the work, frankly. Referring to her inner guide as ~ing wasn't so bad, but the constant puns (e.g. ...more
I saw someone mention this book on facebook and before I knew it, I'd ordered it on Amazon. I consider myself a Spirit Junkie, so I couldn't resist it. When the book arrived, I must admit, I was put off by the cover, it seemed to shout 'this book is for young people'. But I put ...more
