Joan Novelli is a writer, editor, and content developer with extensive experience spanning higher education communications and PreK–12 publishing. Her work includes strategic internal communications at the university level as well as print and digital products for educational publishers and EdTech companies. As a longtime freelance writer and editor, she has provided comprehensive editorial services for organizations such as Apple, Scholastic, Curriculum Associates, Disney, Pearson, Sesame Workshop, TIME for Kids, and the Southern Poverty Law Center. She has led and contributed to major literacy and assessment programs, developed standards-aligned instructional content, and partnered closely with authors to guide projects from concept through publication.
