A very interesting book on lucid dreaming, considering I've read a dozen of these. Some chapters offer new ideas or new ways of thinking which might inspire an experienced lucid dreamer. I wouldn't recommend it to beginners, because the content about consciousness, awareness and self-help might get a little too deep. I know I would want a simple beginner book with more 'fluff' to get started. (Check my list ''the mind'' to see which ones I would recommend for beginners)

I also like his humble way of writing. He refers to other books to learn more about other techniques. While he discusses several techniques and even supplements and foods, the main topic about the book is immersion - not a technique perse but a combination of several.

What's funny to me is that almost all lucid dreaming books discuss the well known supplements, like galantamine... he's one of the first who's truly honest about his experience. Calea (dream herb) is also one of those discussed in every book... yet my guess is not one of them have tried it.... or they would warn the readers about the worst taste you'll ever experience before bedtime. :))

Besides that, I have nothing to add. This book is unique because of Ryan's view, which makes this book mostly about mindset and awareness to get lucid. Which is, in my personal experience, indeed the best way to get lucid on a regular base. I'm happy someone took the time to write a whole book about it, for me it's a lovely reminder to what truly works.

I read a lot of books in my time and this one struck a chord in me that the other myriad of books I read didn't. I love his style of writing and storytelling. I couldn't put my kindle fire down and definitely took the phone off the hook and sat in my favorite cozy chair. I became entranced in the whole story and lost track of time. Kinda reminds me of Stephen King a bit. Story grabbed me from the start, since I love technology and conspiracy theories which are abound in this story. This story the way it was told won't disappoint. Two thumbs up for this writer and his first novel in the series. Even if your all zombied out already or not a zombie fan of this genre, still give this noteworthy novel a read, it's really, really good! I found it only on Amazon Kindle fyi. Add this book to your shelf in a hurry.
