The White Wolf Prophecy was long known by the Clan of O'Hara - except for Kaitlan O'Hara. Kaitlan was an editor for Seneca Publishing House owned by her Father, Canaan. Knowing that her life was in danger from an enemy by the name of Zanack, Canaan sent Kaitlan to edit the book of their best-selling author, Cordone Valon, who lives deep in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Kaitlan was not looking forward to it. Or as Kaitlan so colorfully puts "Forget 'Neverland'. This was a trip into 'Nowhereland'." She resented her Father insisting she go to the one man she despised above all others. Yet, she had never met him in person! And, worse? She was sent the day before her birthday! Her twenty-seventh birthday marks her entrance into the supernatural world of which she had no knowledge. When Canaan is murdered, Cordone is left with having to tell Kaitlan about who she really is. Their passion is all consuming. Their mating, fast and furious. From the moment she discovered who, and what, she was, everything changed. In order for the prophecy to come true, and an ancient "curse" broken, Kaitlan, and her three best friends, Sarah, Anita, and Lynne, must mate. Who is The One called Zanack? He killed Kailtan's Mother, and more Clan females are dying. They have to find who it is and stop him. The secret is in the ancient scroll of the Prophecy which has been missing for thousands of years. Unknown by all is that there were two scrolls, and the only one ever found was a forgery....
LK Kelley was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and adopted by Curtis and Jerry Smith. Her hometown from the age of seven months was Fort Smith, Arkansas. At 17, she toured Europe, and learned that not everything about World History was written! She also celebrated with the French on Bastille Day, July 14, on the Champs-Élysées.
She graduated from Westark Community College with an Associate of Arts Degree in Music, and a minor English. As of 2012, she is also a Freelance Book , Article, and website Editor.
She loves to read anything, and everything, but most specifically that which has to do with the Supernatural World and Romance.
When asked why she wrote this book, she said:
"I decided to write this series specifically for the adult female ages 18 - 60. I just felt like there seemed to be a missing link for this age group. I believe that even the supernatural world can begin at any age in life. I have no idea where the idea came from, but it just seemed to flow easily."
LK Kelley lives in Barling, Arkansas which is a suburb of Fort Smith, AR.
She has been married for 40 years to Wes, and it feels as if it's only been a month. They have one daughter, Laura, who lives in Colorado.
This book is full of twists, turns and surprises that will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what could or even should happen next. The details are thorough, and exceptionally written, and easy to follow along, so much so that you can visualize where you are at, if you have a great imagination. The words are there to guide you to the place you will want to see, and follow along, throughout the pages, along with these mythical creatures as they mate, and battle, and even lose their lives.
Kaitlan O’Hara was an Editor for Seneca House Publishing, which was owned by her father, Canaan. Zanack, who killed Kaitlan’s own mother long ago, is someone no one is truly sure exactly who he is other than someone who murders females. So he must be sought out and found. Canaan knows this, yet he still sends his own daughter into the path of danger, before her twenty seventh birthday, right before she enters into the world of her own supernatural being, to edit a book of their best-selling author Cordone Valone. And Cordone Valone lives deep in the Rocky Mountains, in Colorado, in the heart of ‘nowhereland’ according to Kaitlan. Kaitlan resented her father for sending her on this mission, she despised Valone, and now he was ruining her birthday.
Canaan ends up murdered, and this results in Kaitlan not having her own family to inform her of her own changing body. Cordone is left holding the ball, and guides her through, telling her what she needs to know, and in the long run, feelings seem to grow.
The White Wolf prophecy is known by all, except for Kaitlan, until now. They are known as the clan of O’Hara, something no one ever told Kaitlan. Now Kaitlan is learning and taking in everything. She learns of the prophecy, and the scrolls, which have been missing for thousands of years.
Kaitlan needs and wants to know more, it is her destiny. She feels with Cordone by her side, maybe there is chance.
To learn what is in store for the Clan of O’Hara you need to buy a copy of this great book, and learn for yourself, and follow along! It is a wonderful tale that will keep you wanting more, and you will fall in love with it, and its writer! It is a definite five star read, worth your time! I was very pleased with this, and look forward to reading more books by Ms. Kelley in the future!
It is very hard to give details regarding the story without them being spoilers, however I will try my best to remain spoiler free. The White Wolf Prophecy following the protagonist Kaitlen as she discovers the truth not only about who she is, but what her appearance mean to supernaturals (elves vampires, werewolves etc.) but her new found identity isn’t all she must come to terms with, there are things which started a long time ago which threaten to destroy everything which she had just discovered and all she desires to protect. The book has a very interesting story, and since I have never read anything containing erotica before, and whilst not naïve I still found myself blushing at parts. The story itself has numerous gratuitous sex scenes, then again, with the book title being ‘Mating’ this is to be expected and essential to create an understanding not only of the bonds formed, but the species and changes essential to the book and on going plot. This is yet another author who will be appearing again on my reading list as I add the other books in the series to my wish list. I cannot wait to find out what happens next in the story.
