I liked how this book featured more than just the basic stitches that I see in all the books. It's always nice to have more options and tricks up your sleeve. Josie told me she liked the Gentle Waves Baby Afghan on page 199 and that she needs it for her puppy, Isaac. I gave it two because none of the patterns really grabbed me.

A slightly advanced book on crocheting that features some colorful, though slightly dated, patterns. I would give it a three, but I personally didn't find any of the patterns useful or pretty enough to make me want to hook them.

Not as clear as I would have liked it to be. I have found better crocheting instruction on you tube.
