Chloe is a wolf with a problem: She can't change and if her wolf doesn't come soon, pack law demands she leave the only home she's ever known.
Then temptation comes calling...hot hunky werewolf, Jackson promises Chloe he'll bring her wolf. He's been pining for her from afar and won't miss a chance to claim Chloe for his own.
The bad boy alpha will have Chloe howling before she knows it.
To Bring Her Wolf is approximately 8,000 words in length and contains graphic sexual content between consenting adults.
Page length varies due to e-reader settings, but please understand this is a short story and not a novel. Short stories are the mini candy bars of fiction; little sweet nothings that melt too fast. That's why you can never stop at just one!
NOTE: This story was previously published as Make Her Howl.
A USA Today & NY Times bestselling author, Michelle Fox lives in the Midwest with her husband, kids, the occasional exchange student and two, sweetly disobedient dogs. She loves fantasy and romance, which makes writing paranormal romance a natural fit.

Make Her Howl is book one in the Bring Her Wolf series by Michelle Fox. This is my very first book by Michelle and I am wondering why in the world that is. I loved it.
Chloe is a werewolf. Well, she’s supposed to be anyway. Her wolf won’t emerge. She’s called a Null. In cases like this, once you hit twenty-five years old, your time is up. Her alpha has been as patient as he can be but nothing has happened, so she has to leave the only home she has ever known. She feels like she is a freak. So on her last day in her home, she is treating herself to a pizza and a cheap bottle of wine. But the night turned out entirely different than she imagined.
Jackson Swift was sort of the town bad boy. Or so Chloe thought anyway. When he first came to town he tried to talk to her but she ignored him. So after awhile he gave up and began to systematically work his way through all the females in their town. So why is he on her doorstep now? Tonight of all nights?
Jackson claims to have a possible answer to Chloe’s problem. He thinks he can bring her wolf out. If she will give him a chance. But to do so, there is one particular thing that must happen. Is Chloe willing to take the chance?
This is a very short story and an introduction to Jackson and Chloe and I loved it. I’ve never read about a shifter who’s animal wouldn’t come forth. And I love these two together. I can’t wait to see what happens next in book two, The Alpha’s Mate.
Being the outcast always looking in is a hard life. Chloe knows this first hand because she's treated as a second class citizen. She can't shift into a wolf so she's treated to a half life in the town. This is because the town is filled and run by werewolves. Jackson is the new werewolf in town. His eyes devour Chloe up and he thinks she's worth it.
This is a very light and fast read. It's enjoyable and very sweet. Ms. Fox does a lovely job of turning the "out girl" into the "in girl". There is no maliciousness in this story which is nice. The conflict is derived not from contrived misunderstandings or intentional cruelty. Instead, it's realistic to life (as much as shifters can be) and pulls the reader in for a good time. The sex in the story is steamy. As Ms. Fox states, this is story is an appetizer rather than a full meal. It is definitely an appetizer I would recommend. Recommended for paranormal lovers who enjoy a happily ever after.
This book was chosen for me by my secret valentine so thank you to her :)
Great a story with a woman werewolf Chloe who has no wolf or we think at the beginning !
Jackson is an alpha from another pack and he knows "how to make her Howl" and make her wolf comes to light. Yep good ! But when you read : "Their union is rough and savage" I don't really agree with that. because of the things : focus on your wolf while I make you come. And it's for that only 3 stars.
Well I forgot to speak about the HEA ...how to say, it was obvious when Jackson knock at her door that there will be a HEA. No surprise there ^^
and I loooove ... no ... Enjoyyyyy HEA in a book.

cover 5 stars I totally love this cover. It's hot and straight to the point. I know what this book is about by looking at it and I would grab this one at any bookstore. Hot couple + wolf = WOW!
characters 4.5 stars Chloe - I like her. She has been an outcast her whole life, but she has always kept on going and now she is ready to move on. She may be feeling sorry for herself, but she is not begging for scrap.
Jackson - He is hot! At the same time, sleeping with the whole town is not the way of getting your mate. Oh Jackson... bad bad bad wolf. But I guess I would let him make me howl also!
plot 3.5 stars Here usually lies my problems with short stories. They are appetizers, not the whole meal and I'm usually a glutton. I can see promise in this, if the author will make into a series. It's a fun, sweet, hot story. The world built was interesting, but not enough info for me to totally imagine it. It was a fast easy read, that had me guessing what was next and it left me with "I want more!" It had humor, heat and the author built the intensity nicely.
sex heat 4 stars Great scenes! At the beginning I was a bit thrown by the wolves get in the middle of the heat, but after I got used to it, it was great. The scene at the forest was HOT HOT HOT! The author used great descriptions and some new stuff.
originality/credibility4 stars This is PNR, so inside of the supernatural world this was very believable and easy to relate. I found the author's werewolves world fresh, knew a bit different!
editing 4 stars A few mistakes come to my mind, but nothing that bother my reading flow. Good!
Impressions and opinion Chloe was very easy to relate and connect. Who has never felt this way? A whole life like this, shows great strength of character. I wish it was longer! I want more!
Purch Amazon Oct. 29, 2016 Bring Her Wolf (Bring Her Wolf, #1) by Michelle Fox is an Adult Paranormal Romance Short of about 25 to 30 pages. A lot of information and energy is packed in this first part of Chloe and Jaxons story. You get a good sense of their identities and what brought them to this moment in their lives. I enjoyed the story very much. It was a fun and quick read. There is humor, passion and a bit of mystery infused throughout the story. The erotic scenes, though short, are persuasive and steamy. Jaxon has wanted Chloe since he joined her pack. Now is his only chance to show her what he can do for her and get what he wants. Now the negatives. #1. A couple of editing errors. I only caught 2 and they are at the beginning of the story. #2. It needed to be just a few pages longer to add more complexity and depth to the personalities of the main characters and more intensity to the erotic scenes. The good news.... This is free right now on Amazon, which is great. Better yet, the sequel, 'The Alpha's Mate' is also free on Amazon right now! I have already downloaded it and will read it later today.
Uumm, it's difficult to rate this one, I could really see the potential for the story but I don't think the telling of it was very good. This author is new to me so I have no previous experience of her work to be able to fall back on and make the decision on whether or not I will go on and read any more. The reason I got this was because the next book in the series was included in a box-set I had picked up ( Fated Mates: The Alpha Shifter Boxed Set). This free novella is a prequel, a glimpse into the start of the relationship between Jackson & Chloe which continues into the next. I am trying to be fair and take into account that when reading such a short book it is difficult to assess and fully work out what an author is really like, so bearing that in mind and as I already have the next book I might as well go on and read it before deciding if I will read any of MF's other works.
This is a super hot quickie read! About an hour of my time and some major hotness on my kindle! Chloe thinks she can't shift and her pack's rule is at a certain age, if you can't shift you gotta go. So on her birthday eve she's having a pity party for one when the new guy in town shows up with a plan to bring out her inner wolf! ;) Very nice!!
Chloe is a null, a werewolf that can't change. She is twenty-five and is since she can't change she has to leave town since it is pack land. Nulls can't stay in the pack. As she is preparing to leave she gets a visitor. Jackson is the new alpha in town. He has worked at the bar with Chloe and been with most women there too. After speaking with his mother he believes he can bring Chloe's wolf if she has sex with him. Chloe is furious with his suggestion but wants nothing more than to be a wolf and once she closes her eyes while kissing Jackson she is there.
Delightful read if you're into werewolves. I enjoyed the way Ms. Fox treated the whole transition from human to wolf. This is a story of pushing through inexperience and into the "impossible." The sex is hot and actually critical to the plot, which ties together the erotic and the supernatural themes very well.
Always a must read PNR shifter page-turner I did not want to put down! Bring Her Wolf is a short, awesome prequel with well-defined characters full of drama & smoking hot romance. I highly recommend this book, the next Alpha's Mate & those that follow in this series, as well as any other book by this talented author!
Another werewolf erotica with the male being all alpha and the female being all beta. Yeah, not quite my thing. I do love werewolves, though.
The writing here was really messy as well. Seing as it is such a short, the story being poor could be forgiven but not writing like this. Words missing and some words that don't make any sense in the middle of sentences.
A sexy, fun little romp with a very Alpha male and a sweet girl who's been forced to the fringes of the pack because of her Null status. Surprisingly fun and nicely naughty. I liked it.
This is the equivalent of a chapter, under 25 pages. Very short. A little untidy.
“The only null in four generations, and the horror that kept the parents of Huntsville up at night. The frightful aberration they used to make children behave.”
Wow, I had actually read this book in 2015? Huh. Have completely no recollection of it. And that speaks for itself.
Somehow came upon it and thought -would be nice to read smt werewolf - and while the title did seem kinda suspicious, thought- it probably won't be that bad.
It wasn't that bad...but it certainly was bad. Still think it's just 2 meager stars. And would give it 1 if not for the fact that 1 is reserved for those books I hate & despise and wish had never read and would love nothing more than to burn them to ash *ahem*
It's a very good thing that Make Her Howl is just a few pages. And even then I started to skip over the whole "hot" scenes. It was not hot. I've read hot and this was tepid at best. The writing....oookay. The plot...had potential. Overall...meh. Not worth it.
Now this next part is as much for the 0.5 book as it will be for 1.0 book:
But when I saw that it had a sequel for the same couple, thought I should give it a chance, maybe with more page time it will improve...well, maybe it did by 5% or so.
And turns out the series has a 2nd and 3rd book as well, thou no longer the same main couple...I'm no longer inclined to give those a chance. Thou the rating is considerably better for them, these 2 have managed to make me lose any interest in the writer/series.
Bring Her Wolf/Huntsville Pack series is not one I would recommend if one wants to read a good/awesome werewolf romance. However, if one is ok with something easy & fast which does not take up one's mind and likes werewolf romance, then this is it - you found the right series!
But for me - meh.
Also...if you have mates & mate bonds/whatever...how dare you make it a crappy one! I hate crappy mate bonds! At least here the saving grace is that they had not yet completed/mutually recognized the bond. But still...not cool dude, not cool.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Book #1 review: The Alpha's Mate
I enjoyed this short, hot, and sexy book from Michelle Fox. This book is intended for 18+ only due to the sexual content.
Chloe is classified a null in the wolf community as she can't transform to a wolf. She is being forced to leave the community and in steps in Jackson, who says he can bring her wolf.
Jackson informs her that he smells her wolf, but needs to sleep with her to force her wolf out.
This is a short, but well written read, with hot sexual scenes as Jackson brings her wolf out.
I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys shifters and wants a fast read.
This was exactly what I expected from Michelle Fox! I was a good story and a fun romp with the wolves. I loved these characters even more than the last book I read by Michelle Fox. I love how well the characters are developed and rounded out - I feel like I know about these characters before they jump in the sack - which for me is a HUGE deal!
I got this book free from the author, and I have never done a review before. I have to say that this was a great short story! It had an actual story, plot development, and made me care about the characters. These are three things I have learned not to expect in a short story, however this book delivers all three quite well, and it was sizzling hot as an added bonus.
3.5 stars Chole is considered null and has to leave the pack...but before leaving Jackson tells her there might be a way to bring on her wolf. Sleep with him...or rather have hot orgasmic sex that ends her null status.
I enjoyed this story it was a b&n freebie. Recommended for shifter lovers who want a quick story and two sex scenes.
Chloe has never been able to shift, she is what is called a null and she is ready to be throrn out of the pack, can't have a null and they've tried everything. In comes the big and bad Jackson, Jackson is a wolf on a mission: He will make her howl...one way or another.
This was a great short story about a woman who is a null - a werewolf who can't change. However with the help of Jackson, Chloe is able to change. Very hot!
