*****Check out Darling & Co. for full review.*****

It starts out with the Oola Seeker telling you about how he hit rock bottom and that he did not want this life for himself. He was divorced, living in a horrible motel, and in extreme debt. After a shocking experience one night, he reaches out to the Oola Guru and asks for help to return his life to a life full of Oola. Being a person who has also been at rock bottom in her own life, I know how hard it is to ask for help, but I also know how grateful I am to the people who extended their hands and helped me off the ground.

After learning about how the two have worked together to get the Oola Seeker on the right path again, and learning about the amazing feats of the Oola Guru, it gets into the 7 F's of Oola: Fitness, Finance, Family, Field, Faith, Friends, and Fun. After the 7 F's, you learn about OolaBlockers and Accelerators. At the end of the book, you learn how to develop your Oola Wheel, set your Oola Plan, and get started on the Oola Path to achieve the Oola Life.

I know that all of this sounds cheesy, and honestly, it is. But it also works for me and I think it can work for you. Over the years, I have read my fair share of self-help books. Honestly, I love self-help books. I think they're amazing because they are interesting and you learn something, even if it's just one thing. But out of all of the self-help books I've ever read, this is the one that has spoken to me the most and that has improved my life and my outlook on life the most. Dr. Dave, the Oola Seeker, has the most positive outlook I have ever seen in a person. Between the book, the webinar, and their Oola videos on YouTube, his positive attitude just jumps out at you and makes you feel better and that you can accomplish anything. Dr. Troy is my motivation. Three things that are talked about the most is his beautiful marriage and family, that he is debt free by 40, and that he has traveled to more than 50 countries. Even before reading the book, these were 3 things that I knew I wanted in my life, and he is proof that you can have all of them.

Dr Dave and Dr Troy are amazing! I am normally not a person who is into self help or motivational books or speaking. These two men rocked my world. They are very true and real. Their Oola philosophy is fantastic!!!

This book has the key fundamentals of improving your life. I do think the topics that they touch upon are relevant, however, the manner that they present the material is just touching the surface. There are plenty of other self help books that discuss these topics alot better than Oola.

The book has two different viewpoints - OolaSeeker and OolaGuru. Throughout the various parts of the book, each person talks about their significance to that topic. I didn't think that this was an effective way of presenting the material.

I found the perspective of balancing the areas of our lives helpful and different from other self help books I’ve read. So, in that case I found it interesting. I wasn’t wowed by it though. I think it would have drawn me on deeper if it were only told by OolaSeeker.

*Did not finish* This book is an absolute waste of time. I got it as a freebie from Audible. It literally offers no new concepts. It’s boring and it came across as a lazy attempt by the author to sell a self-help book regardless of content.

I just don't see how this book is a one size fits all type of book. Not all people have the same circumstances in life.

This is a terrible waste of time. I kept hoping it would get better and painfully got braved the whole thing. There is a non-negligible amount of faith-based babble in this book which has strictly nothing to do with the actual topic. The worst part is that the tone of the book leads me to believe that it was written by typical college jocks who are bitter about the fact that they have aged and are looking to make a quick buck through the scam that is this book.

Feeling Oola

I enjoyed reading this because it caused me to reflect upon myself and my life. It helped illustrate areas in which I need to improve upon and those in which just checking I am doing well.
