Important Note about PRINT ON DEMAND Editions: You are purchasing a print on demand edition of this book. This book is printed individually on uncoated (non-glossy) paper with the best quality printers available. The printing quality of this copy will vary from the original offset printing edition and may look more saturated. The information presented in this version is the same as the latest edition. Any pattern pullouts have been separated and presented as single pages. If the pullout patterns are missing, please contact c&t publishing.
This book is a guide to transfering images onto fabric, and covers a range of methods from copiers to stamps, screen printing and photochemical methods. It is rather text-book like with it's easy-to-follow step-by-step discussions and references to pieces created by fabric artists (Is that the term?) using these methods. Although some of the information in this book is quite dated (I'm reading the 1992 version), I found it to be very useful, informative, and inspiring to my creativity. I have taken notes and fully intend to use some of these techniques.
