It is a search that he is willing to put a lot of attention into, especially when his chosen finds ways to avoid him on the dream plane. That is the kind of woman he is looking for, intelligent and sneaky. He might be in love.

I tend to skip reviewing these books because a) there are so many of them, and b) you already know if you're interested or not - my review won't sway you.

But this one was really messed up. The author obviously lost her thread here and doesn't really manage to connect things very well. Things are moving along just fine and then suddenly it's like we're in a different book, the plot changes so drastically.

Aside from the dubious consent, we also get a scene reminiscent of the tree rape from the Evil Dead movie. No part of having sex with a tree is hot, especially not vines going up your hoohah. And then this creepy as hell graveyard kinda thing. It was horribly disjointed.

But the kicker is the fact that the author's explanations for how things are possible make no fucking sense. Plant splicing, being born from pods, etc. It could have easily made sense, but I feel like the author chose not to research it enough to form a coherent explanation. Though it's entirely likely that, since she releases 2 novellas every 2 weeks, she simply doesn't have time to research it.

This was probably my least favorite book of hers. It was kinda gross and poorly written. She can do way better.

Love the story with a very brave and smart heroine. She was pretty much strong willed and have a huge sense of responsibility that even after she was captured she still worries about her co-workers after her attack and she was smart on how she avoided the advances of our hero.

I had enjoyed Honour's story a lot with her quick thinking and conversation with the hero. I admit the story was kind of weird and there times I was confused about the custom and culture of the world building on this planet. Still, I did enjoy the story and would recommend it to all.

This short story was odd in a very good way. Our heroine is super smart. She nor we knows what is going on for the longest time but she never panics. The superpowers and blending with the forest is epic. Can't say much else without spoilers. The romance is solid. Fun is had by all.

The heroine was smart and loved plants. She becomes the mate of a being that is part of the forest. It is somewhat strange. The way they mated was unconventional and weird with the forest binding/bounding them together.
