Did I just read this entire book in 5 hours? Yes, I did. This series is incredible. I’m so lost for words. I haven’t read something like this in such a long time. I’m convinced some hypnotic drug was put in these books. Now I have to wait until the next book is released!
Touched by Death, by Harleigh Beck is good. I preferred the second book, but I definitely recommend this one too. There are a lot of captivating sexual scenes, and twists. I didn’t know, that the series wasn’t finished, so now I have to wait for the next book, sniff.
Oh Harleigh, you fricken did it again! The amount of times my jaw hit the floor while reading this, I'm surprised I don't need wire to hold it up now. The twists and suspense were top notch, the spice...well let's just say that you're going to want to make sure you're not wearing any panties 🥵 The cliffhanger..Harleigh you devil..you always keep me wanting me and anticipating the next book, this is no different. (This is part of a series and can't be read as a standalone) I can't wait for book 4 and to continue Aurelia's story. Harleigh Beck, you truly are so talented, don't ever stop writing, I need all your dark romance and spice!
This book was somehow even better than the first two!! I was on edge and completely sucked in. Those spice scenes were NEXTLEVEL!! I had so many theories and not ONE of them was right! I was thrown at the cliff hanger. LOVED this book sooo much. Cannot wait to get to book 4 and get some more of the plot and those delish men & of course Dari!
Touched by Death by Harleigh Beck is a dark why choose paranormal romance. This is the third book in the Sins of The Fallen series.
I absolutely love Harleigh's books. She does an amazing job pulling me into the story. This book took another twist that I am absolutely loving. I really enjoyed that we got Aurelia, Genesis, Amenadiel, Lucifer, Dariana, Ronan, Dmitriy, Alaric, and Daemon's points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life. I loved getting inside Lucifer, Amenadiel, and Dmitriy's heads in this book.
The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for Harleigh to announce the next book in the series.
I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, why choose romances, or paranormal romances.
This book was definitely my favourite out of the three so far 🤩 In book two I found myself getting slightly bored at times but I’m so glad I continued with the series. Touched by Death is where we really get to unravel some of the story and I was devouring every page. It had spice, spice and more spice 🥵 and the storyline also had me dying to know what came next. I thought this was originally a trilogy but I’m so glad to find out we have more books coming 😍 I’m going to miss these unhinged angels for now 😈
HARLEIGH BECK. Ma’am. These cliffhangers are going to send me to an early grave! “Touched by Death,” much like the other books in the Sins of the Fallen books left me gagging, speechless, feral for the next book. This dark paranormal romance universe Beck has created has literally changed the way I view PNR and I have become obsessed. As the series progresses, the books get more and more dark and just when you think it can’t get any darker, BOOM! It does!
“Touched by Death” picks right up where “Touched by Darkness” left off, stumbling through a door only to be knocked on our asses. I mean, the action starts right away and doesn’t end when the book ends. I mean Beck is taking us on the most wild roller coaster so far in the series with this book. Our FMC, Aurelia, has a lot more going on than anyone could even image. Twists and turns follow her at every turn and the rest of her dark angels are along for the ride. Daemon, Ronan, Aleric, Dari, and Dmitriy (sorta) will do just about anything to find and keep Aurelia… even when she pushes them all away and even if it starts to drive everyone crazy. I mean this is Hell… there are no loyalties and ill intentions are everywhere. The road to the gut wrenching cliffhanger is a bumpy, bloody, sexy as sin, intensely rough road but boy is it worth it.
Yet again, this book is not unlike the others. It is incredibly toxic, triggering, angsty AF, and Lord help us all, SO spicy I thought I was going to combust 🫠 I mean, every character is fair game for their share of a spicy scene and ya know what… I’m here for it and will always be here for it. The FFMMM element of the story wasn’t as extensive (for lack of a better word 😅) in this book but they’re all still attached to each other down to their souls so it’s all there! YALL! We get a glimpse of something that may surprise us and if it doesn’t play out in the next book, I will fall out on the floor! IYKYK. We didn’t get to spend as much time with Ronan and Aleric and I would have liked in this book but these boys still hold a special place in my heart!
“Touched by Death” is another amazingly written and crafted installment to this series by Harleigh Beck. This book CANNOT be read as a standalone. You must read books 1 and 2 or you will 100% have no earthly clue how we landed here. Make sure to read the trigger warnings because this book is trigger heavy all the way throughout.
Again, I’ll reiterate.. THE ENDING?!! AH! so not fair! 😫

This book hit a whole other level. I have no clue what is happening and I am addicted!
This book made me 100% team Amenadiel! Although god knows what that means now 🤷♀️🤷♀️
As much as I love Daemon and co, this was the book for the daddies! Lucifer is pure evil but god, he's hot in this book. And Amenadiel is my endgame now. In my mind the last page didn't happen. Harleigh please fix this! 🙏🙏
And the Genesis element was brilliant. This book had so many layers.
I read to about 30% and I do not care to continue. Because I went to the last chapter and it said to be continued. Like girl really another freaking book? just put all of the drama in one book. I’ve had enough I just wanted to know what happened at the end, but now you gotta end the book and do another one, I’m not here for it.
It’s obvious because this book is a why choose that angel will end up with all three of them so I have my clarity right there. That’s all I need.
the first and second book. We’re really great and that’s enough for me.
The plot in this book was even better than the last. I’ve had fun trying to work out what I think is going to happen next and I enjoyed the plot twists that were thrown at as. Again, with this series I just wish there was more to the characters. They have not a lot of depth to them, I don’t connect with any of them and to me they seem like they are all the same. I will be reading the next book as soon as it is out because that cliff-hanger had me going wtf!
Ok seriously where do I start with this book?!?!? First this is book 3 in the “𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒔 𝑶𝒇 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏" series, and yes you have to read these books in order. Second, I am completely enthralled in the world that Harleigh has created and I am totally entangled in these characters. This series just keeps getting better and better. The spice, if you’re into dark romance, is the chefs kiss.
I don’t want to say too much and give anything away, especially if you haven’t read the first two books yet. So I’ll do my best but be warned this review might give you some insight as to what’s gonna happen.
Book 3 picks up right where we left Aurelia off in book 2 … going through that damn door. I’ve enjoyed seeing Aurelia grow and learning more about her powers as well as her fascination with those damn doors she seems to love so much.
The connection that Daemon, Ronan, Alaric, & Dariana have with Aurelia is so strong that you know nothing, not even Lucifer the devil himself can come between them. I also started to really root for some of the characters I didn’t care too much for in the first two books (I’m looking 👀 at you Amenadiel & Dmitrity)
The twists and turns that Harleigh has created in this book damn near gave me whiplash, and I LOVED every corner she had me turning. Just when I thought I knew what was going on BOOM I was thrown right off track again. And just when you think you can’t take anymore you’re left with a cliffhanger that makes your head explode!! Needless to say I’ll be waiting like a “good Angel” for book 4 to come out.
There is so much more that I want to say but it would give too much away. So if you’re into fallen angels, dark angles, battling between light and dark then you HAVE to read this series. Harleigh Beck is becoming one of my favourite dark romance writers.

WHAT!!!! Every theory I had about this book was wrong!! I absolutely loved this series and really sad that I’ve now finished book 3… please please please tell me there is another book coming soon.. it can’t end like that I need more… Harleigh what do you put in these books… literally dead after that ending what the actual hell!!!
I hate that I have to wait for the 4th book! I am so completely in love with this series! I want more and I want it now!! And that twist!! What!? I had that all wrong in my head! 🙃🩷 This series just keeps on giving! I’ll never be the same!
Oh no I can’t believe I finished this book 🥺 I don’t even know when the next one is coming out but that cliffhanger 😩 oh my goodness, overall I loved it, loved how the storyline continued and kept developing, there were twists I really wasn’t expecting and it was overall an emotional rollercoaster which I absolutely loved, definitely recommend and can’t wait for the next book!
This third book in the series. This book had me hooked. The secrets, the lies, the continuous guessing. I absolutely loved it. Harleigh has a way of writing that pulls you in and keeps the mind games going. And don’t get me started on the smut. Also Daemon-I’m obsessed with his possessiveness, his obsessiveness and his protectiveness. He’s the epitome of Alpha Male. Now I need book four please Harleigh. Don’t leave me hanging.
Just when I think I have this sucker figured out it twists on me and leaves my head spinning! This series is absolutely unputdownable! In order to keep from spoiling this amazing story I will keep things pretty vague but trust me when I say this is a series that needs to be read!
I love how far Aurelia has come from the first book and through all of the crap she has had to go through she is still there fighting through it. Like any normal person she has her moments that she gets defeated and questions if all of this is worth it but in the end, she exudes such strength and has so much fight in her. I just love her character. As for the guys, (Daemon, Ronan, & Alaric) and Dari, it has been evident that they are close but I feel like we see more of that sense of family and that bond in this part of their story. They all genuinely care about each other and are deathly loyal to those who are in their tight-knit group. We've seen Daemon question himself in the past but not to the same extent we see in this book. However, their closeness shines through as they are there to help him see how important he is and get him through it.
Some unexpected feelings sparked for me as I read through this as well when it came to the Uncle Amenadiel and his son Dimitriy. Up to this point in the series I wasn't their biggest fan but that shifted throughout the book. I really like the way their characters have developed so far and I can't wait to see where they go from here. I'm also quite thrilled with the direction Dimitriy's storyline seems to be going when it comes to his interactions with one of the other characters. It took me by surprise but I am more than ready for that to take off! As for Daddy Lucifer in all of his devilish glory well... let's just say he lives up to his evil nature and is just as twisted and filthy as I'd hoped he'd be. Getting to see more of him and from his viewpoint is another highlight I was excited to see.
As with the rest of the series the spice is smoking hot! If you're looking for dirty and steamy this will give you what you're looking for without a doubt! The things that Daemon and Dari say made me weak! Then of course Amenadiel had his own little moments that stood out a little more for me than they have before and I'm not hating it one bit lol.
If you've read up to this point in the series then you know how dark it can get and should have no issue reading this book either. With that said if you haven't started book one yet and stumbled across this review then heed the TW because Harleigh does not hold back. I mean this is Hell we're talking about here so shocking that should not be. And just like the books that came before the ending will punch you in the gut because Harleigh has zero reservations when it comes to leaving us with a plot twist and shocker of a cliffhanger! Honestly, though I'm living for these endings because it just makes the excitement for the next book even more intense! I'm so ready for the next book and will absolutely be putting every single one of these books on my shelves when it is finished!
“Touched by Death” is the third book in Harleigh Beck’s Sins of the Fallen series, and I thought it was really dark but also really freaking good! This book picks up right where book two left off, and I thought the book as a whole was both addicting and well-written, with twists and turns I definitely wasn’t expecting. Aurelia definitely goes through a lot in this one, but at the same time, the plot wasn’t only about her. I actually really loved getting to know more about Dimitry, especially because I’ve always been curious about him. As for Daemon, Alaric, Ronan, and Dariana, they’re still their twisted selves, but that’s part of their appeal. The ending made me want to throw my kindle at the wall, and now I cannot wait to see what happens next! If you don’t have a lot of triggers and love paranormal why choose? and fallen angels, this is the book/series for you!
Oh my queen Harleigh you’ve done it again!! You’ve created a masterpiece in this world and I’m not sure I’ll ever recover when this series ends. This one picks up right where book 2 has ended and taken us for another journey with our favorite angel and her flock of darklings. However…… is someone trying to convince her that the darkness inside is who she truly is? This book takes you on a journey to uncover more of what makes this angel so special and why so many are drawn to her. In true Harleigh fashion, she drops a major bomb on us at the end and leaves us gasping for more to finally uncover all the secrets. Guess we’ll have to wait for book 4 to discover all the secrets. The spice is off the chats and I can’t wait to see where book 4 takes us!
I feel like the story is being stretched. The plotline is becoming chaotic and the suspense is mostly gone. I won't be buying the next book. And if I were lying,, I'd say that's because of my mentioned struggles with the book. But truthfully... The sex scènes are in essence all the same and I just can't find any enthusiasm for them... Why Harleigh, is a bit of rough sex always with hair pulling, cock slamming and choking? Nothing wrong with that but I'm worried for Aurelia, she must feel stuck in groundhog day.
Still loving this and can't wait for the next book (even though I'm kind of scared too). Also, my response to the end was "noooooo!"
I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the reverse harem aspect (although not complaining about all the sex Aurelia has with everyone lol). Everyone pretty much has feelings for Aurelia, so I have no idea how this will end, but I would be happy if she just ends up with Daemon. He's the main love interest, obviously above everyone else, based off the amount of screen time he has. I don't mind this so much because I love him, but I'm not as invested in the love between Aurelia and the others as a result. I think since not as much focus is spent on the other characters, their love was a little less believable. And of course I just love how possessive and obsessive Daemon is over Aurelia. None of the other characters come close, so it's hard to root for their love when it's not as intense. I think it's funny too how he always says "my" angel or whatever and they have to remind him each time that she's "ours." But I do love the sexual tension! Especially with the older fallen angels. Love Amenadiel.
I'm also still not sure how I feel about characters within the harem being with others beyond the heroine, even if it's with someone else in the harem. This only happened once so far (once they were with the FMC anyway), but I have a feeling more is to come. I've just never read one where there was anything else going on. I'm kind of a selfish bitch and I just like everyone's focus to be on the heroine. And yeah that makes me a hypocrite because the FMC can sleep with multiple people, but I'm not looking for realism people. But everyone is very much in love with her and obsessed (varying levels though lol), so I feel like it will bother me less if the other relationships are purely sexual, or at the very least not on the same level as their relationship with Aurelia. I mean in this case, Aurelia is still very much the focus, though, so this isn't a big enough thing that it takes away from my enjoyment of the book.
This is a very different reverse harem from what I've ever read. I was surprised to find out that I didn't mind Aurelia being interested in people beyond her existing harem (I mean sex can be separate from love & yes it was only okay for her to be! Being a hypocrite again!). I thought it fit perfectly with the narrative and tone of the story. But, I will say, I didn't like that she kept sleeping with her prey and then she was defensive about it to Daemon and said it was just part of the hunt. That I found hypocritical (in a hypocritical way that I didn't like, as opposed to when I'm hypocrite like above lol) because she didn't want any of the guys sleeping with a human female when they were hunting.
“I want to look into my own eyes as the life bleeds from your soul. I want to see what my own death will look like.”
I WAS TOLD THIS WAS A TRILOGY. I was lied to and I am in a state of panic because that cliffhanger was intense. I had suspicions all along that the stalker was Oliver (it made sense in my mind and I still need to know where he is because if Genesis came back he is definitely making his way back into this story) so to be proved wrong during that cliffy ending was shocking.
“Hovering over me, wrapped in death and shadows, he’s every nightmare brought to life. And he’s fucking exquisite.”
Daemon Daemon Daemon, thank you for coming through during the second half of the book. I was about to lose my patience with you in the first half the book. Aurelia has fought tooth and nail to get these guys, and woman, back. As in ripped her heart out and put it all out there for them and I needed Daemon to get his shit together and come through. And that he did. Apologies for doubting you for even a second.
“I’ll hurt you to get my way,” he promises. “I’ll cut you open if only to leave my scars on your soul.”
Dimitry...I KNEW we weren't finished with him and that he still played an important role. I stand by what I said in my first review, he still intrigues me the most and I devoured all their little and big moments together. The storylines with Amenadiel and Lucifer (also YAY to getting their POVs) surprised me and added to the toxicity and craziness that already existed in this story and I loveeddd it/ate it up.
Those last few chapters were so light and fun and captivating and hot...I just knew the ending would throw me for a loop by the time I realized this was not wrapping up in a nice little bow and package. Honestly, I am not even really mad because I am excited to spend more time in this crazy, cruel, and chaotic world. Let's see what else you got for us Beck!
TBH, even tho I loved the first 2 books — I was ready to DNF at around 40%. Thankfully, I stuck it out because the reasons I wanted to DNF, started to make sense. I personally HATE the whole *anyone and everyone falling in love with the fmc* concept, but I GET IT because of Genesis but I don’t have to like it. 😏 The only one I’m okay with is Dmitriy and that’s ONLY if we get Dmitriy/Ronan along with it 😍
I still have a major gripe with Aurelia getting mad about the betrothal. (I thought it might be Genesis at first, but it wasn’t.) I chalked up the fact that the relationship was so focused on Daemon and Aurelia bc Daemon was the “alpha”. But if this was a *true* why choose situation — Aurelia wouldn’t care who he was marrying as long as it was within the group. She should have been HAPPY it was Dari and not someone else. It’s like Aurelia thinks she better than everyone else, even tho she claims to love Dari? Then the shit Aurelia said to Dari ab Daemon wanting her while being in a “loveless marriage” to Dari? Total utter bullshit and so fucking shitty of Aurelia. A betrothal is about appearances and both Daemon and Dari were groomed since birth for it — even if they weren’t, it would still make sense for Daemon to marry Dari bc Aurelia is literally the “new girl” in hell. And again — if it was true why choose: Aurelia. wouldn’t. care. because. its. Dari.
Also, I think there’s something more about Dari and that she’s more powerful than we are seeing??

I have no words, once again… I was scared that we would enter another timeline with this book after the second book ended the way it did. But I of course got profen wrong. I missed the boys and Aurelia. Even Amenadiel, which is crazy to think but he has grown on me. At least for now ;) The tension between all the characters builds with each book but it doesn’t throw you off the storyline and that is what makes me love all of the books in this series. Harleigh has worked so hard for this and I know not just us readers have been shocked at what happens. Those characters are ready for a wild ride and so are we and her! This is a book where you need to remember that it is not your usual Eden and Hell it is even better. (Haha) I was really excited to also read more about Lucifer’s perspective because I always felt like he has more to do with where this is going than we received. And let’s not forget the spicy in this book is chef's kiss once again. There is no doubt that if I were Aurelia I would do the same. I am so glad we are not done yet but let me be honest I am scared of how this could end because right now I have no idea! The past never stayed in the past in Hell. They are always out for revenge and this time it might not be only one person who is coming back to hunt the fallen angels and their precious angel. But what happens when you find out that Aurelia and Genesis come from the same flame? Will that finally explain why so many things have changed after Aurelia comes to Hell for the first time? There are so many questions unanswered but the one thing that is clear, is Daemon and his group definitely still fight for her. Even Lucifer the devil himself can’t hold them back.
