Ai Morinaga (森永あい Morinaga Ai) was a Japanese manga artist from Okayama Prefecture. Among her best-known series are Your and My Secret and My Heavenly Hockey Club. Morinaga's last work was Kirara no Hoshi, which was published in Betsufure magazine from 2010 to 2015.
There is a complete difference of what it means to be a Tom boy and an abusive mean spirited person that sexually abuses the boy's body she's inhibiting at the moment. There is nothing cute or funny about her selfish hypocritical abusive personality.
Is it a requirement that every shoujo series must at some point force the characters to do Romeo and Juliet? I groaned when it popped up in this volume, but I must admit, I did not predict the conclusion to those three chapters! I was pleasantly surprised. Momoi is getting protective of Uehara, but whether she (in a male body) is feeling jealous of Uehara or just concerned for the virtue of her female body is still kinda unclear. Either way, poor Shiina has picked up on it and is having a rough time.
There is just something kind of amusing about the way that Senbongi seems to like Akira-in-Momoi even better now that he knows it's really his best friend from childhood. It sounds a bit odd to say about a body-switching comedy, but Morinaga manages to restrain herself to things that are mostly plausible, which is a nice change from My Heavenly Hockey Club.
The story and characters seem to have gotten a little more tame, which is good, it felt too over the top in the first couple volumes. Senbongi seems to be making progress. I got a serious creeper vibe from him at first, but it seems like he MIGHT be redeemable. I still hate Momoi, she/he is an awful person. I think they should just tell people. It's been long enough, and it's not fair to Uehara to be isolated from his family.
Dios,COMO ME CAE DE MAL SENBONGI! AHHH!!!
While I loved the first two volumes of this series, all this volume seems to be doing is just treading water. It's only the third volume, so things could improve with the next entry.
In this volume Akira's best friend finally starts to get savvy to what's going on after hearing Akira & Momoi talking about the switch, but this happens at the very end of the book so we don't get to see the after effect of this. (Sorta a spoiler, but it's listed in Tokyopop's summary so I don't consider it a real spoiler.)
Really & truthfully, I'm starting to lose interest in this series. It's cute & at times it can be entertaining, but the manga's plot seems to only hinge around Akira & Momoi. Other characters that were brought up in the first volume (such as Akira's family) seem to have dropped off the radar entirely, while other plotlines seem to be going in a revolving circle. It's cute, but is it really worth $10 if the next few volumes are going to be the same thing? I'll read the next volume, but if things don't pick up with Senbongi discovering the secret I'll probably move onto another series.
Yep, I'm officially hooked. I loved the moment when Senbongi professes his love to Akira but has a moment "but now you are in a girl's body so it's all okay and I'm not gay!" Totally redeems the whole series for me. So amusing.
I really loved the art in the Juliet scenes. Just beautiful.
This is the best of the four volumes I've read.

Senbongi finally relents. Please turn your heart around Uehara. He's nice, way better than Momoi. Oh yeah, I despise the grandfather. I think I hate both Momoi and her grandpa. They're both selfish creatures.
