Vamos por el sgte, que hoy no tengo ganas de libros 🙈

Vol 18 opens with a battle between celestial wizards, Lucy vs. one of the Oracion Seis, Loke vs. Aries (with canonical confirmation that Loke has had sex with at least one of his owners). Lucy is given access to powers she didn’t know she had and does some amazing things, elevating her into a force to be reckoned with.
Erza has to deal with Jellal but none of them are prepared for what awaits them and the true motivator of the deadly Nirvana. Once awakened it heads for Cait Shelter with our heroes in tow. Natsu finds himself facing yet another dragon slayer and as the Nirvana magic makes people change sides, alliances shift, personalities change and a lot is on the line.
I suspect if you’re still following Fairy Tail eighteen volumes in, you already love the characters and the art. Yes it’s often silly and filled with fan service but under that are layers of story that are truly interesting. This one offers up several plot threads I hope are not lost. I’m very much looking forward to what comes next.

4.5/5 18 was a very enjoyable volume. We get more answers regarding Jellal’s return. Then we get that wrap up of the super cool Lucy v. Angel celestial mage battle. Later on Natsu takes on Cobra. It seems like the Oracion Seis arc is starting to wrap up and it’s been another solid one.
The cover of 18 features Jura, Lucy, Natsu and Happy, Jellal, Gray, and Erza.
Angel has Karen’s spirits (Leo’s previous owner) because apparently Angel killed her. It is then revealed that Hibiki was Karen’s lover? Lucy goes to close Leo to save him from fighting her, but he stops her. “She and I may have been friends at one time… but now we have different owners , and we will fight as enemy Celestial Spirits for throes owners” Angel opens another spirit which shoots through both Aries and Leo, proving that Aries didn’t go to a new good hand. Aries is happy Leo found a owner who cares about his well-being too Opening Taurus = Gemini, which uses Lucy’s body against him Lucy pleas Angel to let Aries be with Leo, she’ll giver her anything but her keys. So Angel requests her life. Upon commanding Gemini to kill Lucy, Gemini hears a “pretty voice”, which is young Lucy’s memories saying how much she loves Celestial Spirits Gemini refuses to kill Lucy Hibiki uses a magic which unleashes Lucy’s full potential. The first Urano Meteoria cast, Lucy doesn’t remember it afterwards. Angel fires one last shots but it missed. “My Prayer, is to vanish far away into the sky, like an Angel” When Grandeena disappeared, Jallal saved Wendy. Jellal mentioned something called Anima and then told Wendy it was too dangerous to come with him. He dropped her at the nearest guild (Cait Shelter) Erza finds Jellal first, at the heart of Nirvana Jellal begs her to tell him who he is, he can’t remember Erza tells him the truth, not letting him forget the pain he put her and the others through. Especially the death of Simon. She tells him to stand before her Sherry emerges from the bushes finding Lucy and Natsu (at the bottom of those rapids they fell down last volume) Gray tackles her before she can do anything Lyon is alive! Nirvana leaves Sherrys body Jellal intends to destroy Nirvana, he’s already places a square of self destruction into it Brain cancels the square, revealing he taught it to Jellal. He then awakens Nirvana Nirvana is a Joann walking… thing? Lowkey looking like that ball they fight in the incredibles movie Erza catches Jellal upon its rise. She tells him he must live with the guilt and that dying is the cowards way out Natsu gets motion sickness as they all climb up. But happy catches him as he falls Natsu vs Cobra (flying with happy and Cubellios ((snake with wings))) Cobra can ‘hear’ Natsu’s moves Nirvana is headed in the direction of Cait Shelter Hoteye (real name is Richard) is willing to fight Midnight himself Cobra can read the thinking process of his attacker which makes him impossible to hit but Natsu combats this with- well not thinking at all. Cobra is revealed to be the poison dragon slayer - from the lacrima like Laxus Cobra eats the poison Cubellios produces The poison has really affected Natsu and Happy, but for one final blow happy drops Natsu, who screams really loud. This defeats cobra, as some who hears all, this shout was detrimental Cobra stands back up but upon going to finish Natsu off, Brain decides cobra doesn’t belong in the OS If he can be ‘defeated by a offical guild member’ Cobras one prayer was to “hear the voice of the only friend I ever had, Cubellios” Brain plans to use Natsu as his puppet? Hoteye beats Midnight who is afraid he will be disowned by his dad Brain confirms they plan to attack Cait Shelter first Jura gets pissed and shows why he is considered one of the ten wizard saints Midnights wounds disappeared and he defeats hoteye who’s prayer was to just one more time see his brothers face again Brains face tattoo’s disappear with every OS member defeated Midnight is the last that needs to be defeated

yayyy lyon isn’t dead hehe and jellal lost his memories?! interesting! still rooting for jezra, hoping that ezra can help jellal to remember and bring him to see the errors of his past mistakes… i could be delusional here but who cares.
Ichiya!! You are so weak! He was getting his ass kicked. I want to see your battle!! Go for it🧙🏼♂️ In case of Lucy, I was impressed of her mind for spirits. Loki said that owner’s love makes spirits stronger in other volume. I agree with this words.
Another strong entry. We get to learn a little more about the non-Fairy-Tail wizards who're part of this arc, as more of them reveal their powers. A couple really great fights round out the issue. :)
I don't understand why Gray kept calling Jura an old man. Gray is around 18 and Jura is only 27, that's not old and it's only a 9 year age difference. It really annoys me when people say someone in their 20s is old, it's not. Yeah I know that to teenagers everyone seems old but 27? That's younger than me. Maybe if he was 40 or 50 then I would understand but even that's not old either.
I was never a big fan of Carla when I watched the anime a few years ago but I forgot how irritating she was in the beginning, now that I decided to go through the series from the beginning in manga format, I'm reminded of how annoying she is and how too cool for you she thinks she is. She says Natsu is pathetic for getting motion sick. Sure it's funny sometimes but come on! I know lots of people who get motion sickness and it is not pathetic or their fault. If you can't do anything useful except fly around and all you can do is look down on others, you need to take a good look at yourself and learn to help people in these battles instead of being such a snob. The little girl already proves herself to be really useful and she improves a lot in the next few arcs. Her character development by the time we get to the later arcs is one of the best in this series.
This will be my full review for this entire series. I already read this comic from volume 1-30. Suppose there 50 volume more of this series but I prefer not to finish it as I don't really like the time-skip idea in this series.
To clarify, I love the idea of time-skip. But, in this series, I really hate it. It make Natsu and other main member weaker. Why make them weaker? I want to see MC progress throughout the series. Then, suddenly become weaker. Not to mention when MC want to win each battle, power of friendship keep coming back each battle.
Furthermore, there are a lot of un-explained things happened in this series. The dots are not connected rather than scattered throughout the series. It just there to fill the plot-hole. Rather than explaining, Mr Hiro keep continuing the series and keep adding new characters each volume.
So, after the time-skip, I determine to stop reading this series. I don't want to ruin my memories of this awesome series. For most part, this series actually had huge potential because of interesting and lovable character, but the plot is keep on damaging this series slowly.
This whole book is full of revelations which further the story on so many fronts! I think what makes this volume so important is that it furthers the story on so many different fronts and with so many characters! The best part (for me) is the statement made about living to make up for the sins of the past by Ezra. I think that speech should ring true in all readers ears as we can always do more to positively affect the world around us when we are blessed with more days to live.
Natsu v. Cobra is another epic battle worthy of attention. I believe this series is so enjoyable but I highly recommend reading it before watching the anime. The anime is also very solid but I just find reading the book first much more enjoyable for your senses! Great art tagged with great story and a smooth progression from crisis to crisis is an adrenaline rush to the reader that you don't want to stop!
Thoughts on this volume: • First Urano Metria!!!! Lucy is so fucking strong, she's so cool!! People always sleep on Lucy, but her winning basically because the other opponents Spirits formed a coup is honestly amazing. Her power is literally the embodiment of what being a Fairy Tail wizard is, caring for your friends and fighting beside them. • Jellal being revived and immediately wanting to commit suicide? Real. So fucking real. • Cobra being defeated not by magic but by Natsu specifically targeting the fact that his senses are ultra heightened and yelling so loud it knocks him out is actually an incredible move. A lot of fandom discussion is "Natsu dumb, Lucy weak" and that is so clearly not the case upon reread. • The fast forwarding around Jura's battles, or even just the quick pace of them, was a bit annoying. Show me the new magic!!! I want to see!!!

The battle between Fairy Tail's alliance of guilds and the Oracion Seis continues as the Nirvana magic activates. Nirvana was designed a long time ago to turn darkly-motivated wizards to the light, but it also functions in the opposite way, i.e. turning light-minded wizards evil. The promise of a lot of chaotic mayhem doesn't quite play out in this issue; even so, the story and battles are interesting. Helping the story is the return of Jellal (the villain from the Tower of Heaven story arc), whose amnesia causes interesting complications. The fight doesn't quite finish in this volume but things are finally going in favor of Fairy Tail.
Recommended, though at this point readers definitely can't jump in without reading several, if not all, of the previous volumes.
I'm so happy that we found out what happened with the celestial battle between Leo and Aries! Lucy's strength as a wizard keeps impressing me more and more with every volume. I really appreciate the fact that she's one of the members of Fair Tail's strongest team but she still questions her abilities. It makes her human and extremely relatable. I'm starting to lose track of all the different types of dragon slayer magic that are getting introduced. What I did find extremely interesting is that we are introduced to this concept of old and new generations of dragon slayers. I want to know more!!!! But the biggest question I need an answer to is.... have we finally solved Natsu's motion sickness?????
There were a lot of things I hated in this volume, however, it won my heart with Jellal. The art is great and parts of the storyline are really good. I'm looking forward to how they'll follow this up.
I wanted more battle I got it, and Memories of Jellal was just so good. I don't like Cobra's design as much but feel like there is more they could have done with this group to make it more lethal. As for Jellal, can't wait for him to turn good.
Jellal likely to destruct the Nirvana yet the bad guys tried to stop him. Natsu would destroy the Nirvana by himself. Oh, Lucy won as she got smart after one blue pegasus give it directly to Lucy’s head. And this is the beginning of strong Celestial Wizard.
Hiro Mashima continues to entertain with kinetically cool artwork and a complex story with far too many characters to keep track of. A quick but resonant read. Full of action, sexy-cuteness, and humor. A fabulously fun blend.
The Nirvana saga sees our heroes experience celestial battles and Jellal’s involvement, how Wendy knows her from her past and the big surprise involving a floating land. It’s definitely far from over. A (100%/Outstanding)
