The Corporeal Pull is a story of love that transcends both time and the mortal plane. Terra, a guiding spirit of the Tweens, was content to manage her corporeal charges on Earth and help them towards their divine purpose until she was faced with Liam. The strange attraction she feels towards this lone entity forces her to reexamine the narrow perspective she has held for c ...more

Soul mates join the battle between good and evil.

This book was filled with loads of interesting ideas and situations. When Terra met Liam she didn’t know that her very existence would change in a heartbeat. As a “guide” for corporeal entities, she has linked minds with her charges and helped them fulfill their divine purpose during their lives on Earth. She noticed that soul mates often found their partners again and again, during many lifetimes, but she never thought she’d meet her own soul mat

loved it!!! The story of soulmates struggling to survive against all odds. This is the kind of books that makes you think about life and our purpose. The plot is beautifully written and the characters are wonderful. I recommend this read to anyone. I can't wait to read Sara Dauldin's next book.

I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book, through Reading Deals, and I gave an honest review.

This book's genre is 'Paranormal Romance'. Terra is a female guiding spirit who lives in The Tweens. The Tweens is not elaborately described, so you can leave it up to your imagination. Terra 's calling in the Tweens is to guide other entities who will enter earth and will be given a mortal body; that's what Terra has done for many thousands of years and for thousands of corporeal souls. Once in the human world, they still have free will, though Terra, who will be in charge of a certain number o ...more

I can honestly say I've never read anything quite like this before.

The Corporeal Pull is is two parts Fantasy, one part Romance and a whole lot more. It is the kind of book that throws questions at you left, right and center and invites you to think about the world and our very existence in ways you never have before.

Terra (I love that name btw) is an immortal spirit in charge of guiding corporeal entities through their transformation into a life on earth. It

Note: I was given a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Fantasy is not a genre I've really gotten into, but I love paranormal romance, so I was excited when the author gave me her book to review! I'm really glad she did--this was an exciting, page turning novel that really made me think--a lot deeper than your usual paranormal romance.

Terra is a spiritual guide of the Tweens (I came to think of her as a guardian angel), and her job is to guide entities to their mor

Wow! What a blast! This book was so much more than your usual fantasy. The book explores deep concepts about good and evil and humanity’s purpose, and yet miraculously manages not to become burdensome. Instead it’s riveting! The characters are deep and multi-dimensional. The ideas and the world are totally unique, and yet believable.
From the beginning I was drawn in by the main character, Terra. You just can’t help but like her. She’s good-hearted, and though she’s existed for centuries, she’s s

This love story is definitely something different. There is of course that connection between two people but the author has taken on the idea of soul mates. Now for those that believe in the concept of course it is simple, for those of us that might not buy into that, it can be a little hard to swallow even when we are aware that we are reading fiction. This story was written in such a way that it comes from the view of someone who doesn’t buy into the soul mate idea and that is what actually ma ...more

Do you believe in Love-at-First-Sight? After reading this book you will. The guiding spirit of Tweens was content with her job overlooking and managing corporeal charges down on Earth. However, that changed when she meets the gorgeous newcomer Liam. She begins to questions everything and soon enough a cute light romance begins to form.

I'm the type of person that in order to love the book, I have to be hooked from the very firs

The Corporeal Pull was a different type of story than I usually read. Sort of a cross between science fiction and fantasy. There was a lot of “world building” at the beginning but once the action started it pulled me right in and I enjoyed the well written and imaginative storyline.
Like Romeo and Juliet and other doomed literary lovers, the attraction between mismatched entities: Terra (a soul guide) and Liam (her newest charge) was sweet and instantaneous, but against normal protocol in their

It is always a most pleasant surprise to find a novel on Amazon that stretches the boundaries of one’s imagination, not just within its central plot, but within its broad, passionate, and edifying conception of love. I was excited to find an author like Gauldin, who is weaving profound metaphysical ideas with page-turning plot movement.

Corporeal Pull is laced with haunting colors of noteworthy cinematic works such as, “What Dreams May Come,” and memorable classic literary works invoking guardian

I was lucky enough to be given a copy of this by the author to review it. I'm kind of torn about how I feel about it. It was a decent enough book with a lot good questions. I never really had a deep connection with any of the characters and the insta-love threw me off. The writing style was very wordy and intelligent. It is high fantasy and romance, so don't take it on unless you enjoy that. I think a certain type of reader would really love this book. I, however, am not that reader. I did like ...more

Was passed this book by the authur in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this story; the book is a paranormal romance and Terra is the female lead who is a guiding spirit and forms a connection with Liam who is her new charge.

The book is filled with lots imagination and is an exciting read! It is a story of soul mates and the extent one person would go to protect those she loves. Gauldin thought the plot out well, exploring the meaning of life. This book will get you thinking about every d

The Corporeal Pull is full of fantasy and an imaginative plot that kept me turning the pages to see if Terra's journey between worlds would lead her back to her beloved Liam. Gauldin captured my attention through the eyes of her characters as they transcended between The Tweens and Earth. She masterfully crafts sentences that are sophisticated enough to be appreciated by an adult audience, yet the plot-line and romance will no doubt pull in young adult readers. Great read for anyone who likes to ...more

I was sent this book for review and found it to be an intelligent and thought provoking read.

This story is deeply philosophical and explores worlds and concepts of life and death, good versus evil and transcendence in an original and clever way.

Although this first in the series it holds great significance to what it means to be human and the forces that surround us and that the next book will only delve deeper.

It too explores the 'reality' of society and its encompassing sadness and hardships -

The Corporeal Pull by Sara B. Gauldin

This is a fantastic read. Those with even a passing interest in the supernatural (ghosts, spirits, heaven, souls, any of that) will really love this. The action, emotion, and interesting plot points are well-mingled and will keep you flipping pages until the end. I know I had trouble putting it down! I really cannot wait to read the next book in the series. :)
