About the author

Adora Svitak is a Bay Area-based writer and public speaker who advocates for youth empowerment around the world. In 2010, she delivered the speech ‘What Adults Can Learn from Kids’ at TED. It has received over 5 million views on TED.com alone, and has been translated into more than 40 different languages.

Adora was named one of the ‘30 Top Thinkers Under 30’ by Pacific Standard Magazine and contributes to numerous publications including Huffington Post, Mashable, Women's Media Center, Bust, The Bold Italic, and the TED blog. She has spoken in front of audiences at Google, Mashable and the United Nations.

Flying Fingers was amazing: considering it was written by a seven-year old. Adora's book of short stories, tips, and poetry was extraordinary. She had a very good usage of words in all her stories, and I can't wait to read her next and upcoming books. (Which my comment will be in! Squeeee!!!!)

How amazing!!!!

Thật là tuyệt vời!!! Đó là điều duy nhất tôi có thể nói về cuốn sách này. Có thể ở độ tuổi của tôi, đọc những câu chuyện ngắn với nội dung đơn giản thế này không còn gây hứng thú nữa. Nhưng thực sự khi đọc, tôi thậm chí đã quên mất tác giả này mới chỉ 7 tuổi. Những câu từ hoàn chỉnh, ngôn ngữ phong phú, từng nhân vật đều mang những màu sắc rất riêng khó trộn lẫn. Trí tưởng tượng của Adora thật phong phú, dù chỉ ở trong một độ tuổi rất trẻ! Không thể tin được. Lối viết, cách hành văn, ngôn từ có thể đạt được tới trình độ của một học sinh Trung học. Cách dẫn truyện rất lạ, khiến tôi không thể đoán trước điều gì sẽ xảy ra. Tuy nhiên khi đọc hết thì tôi nhận lại được sự hụt hẫng. Vẫn không thích những cái kết lắm! Dù sao thì từng câu chuyện ngắn vẫn là những nỗ lực tuyệt vời của tác giả. Đáng ra tôi chỉ cho 2 sao, nhưng xét về con số 7 tuổi, tôi nghĩ 3 sao là một phần thưởng xứng đáng cho Adora Svitak
