Better
I’ve said that the Dark Hunter books have been kind of cookie cutter, but I have enjoyed them because the world has gone crazy, life has been turned upside down, and I can’t read anything “heavy”.
These last three books have shown the writers growth. The crux of the story is very similar, but the storytelling shows marked improvement. Color me impressed by the growth!
I purchased the next set of three. Let’s face it, the world is still in the toilet and I totally still need a guilty pleasure. Thanks Sherrilyn for providing much needed escape and entertainment! Also, if you think I need a dark- hunter of my own, I guess I could suffer 😜😈

Were-hunters
Sins of the night was meh. It never really caught or held my attention. I just wanted the story to be over.
I love Wren in unleash the night. He is one of my favorite characters. I would love to pet a big kitty too. The main H maggie, is a doll and I was happy when she told her father to shut up.
Rayvn and Susan's story was good as well. The beginning was a bit chaotic and odd. Susan acted crazy but I guess you would to if you found out the cat you adopted turned into a man. Alas, catman turned out to be a handful and life was turned upside down for Susan. Or was it? This also is the book we see the arch of Nick occurring.

Catching my breath!
I was holding my breath the last page of so... Another three amazing books in this series and no sign of the stories getting weak or the author getting lazy! In a way I'm glad I waited as long as I did to start the series because I'm tearing through these books like a mad woman!!! If you're on the fence still not sure I say go for it you won't be disappointed!

I loved it. Unfortunately for me I will not get to finish the series. I assumed I'd be able to finish the series with Kindle since the the first 3 sets were included in Kindle Unlimited. However, that is not the case. I guess it's like fishing... they reel you in then start charging you to continue. So I just learned never start a series with Kindle Unlimited.

couldn’t put it down
It is so easy to become involved with the characters that you don’t want to put the books down. I can’t wait to get started on the next set.
