Debbie "Buried in Her TBR Pile"
"I grew up, and you didn’t. You’re going to go back to Holland the same guy who ran scared from something real. Only this time I’m going to have an easier time moving on because I know it has nothing to do with me not being enough and everything to do with you not being ready."

“What’s that?”
“In love with me.” She closed her eyes, a single tear trailing down her left cheek.
He pressed a kiss there, tasting the salt of her pain. “I was.”

I honestly couldn’t wait to see what author Jenna Bayley-Burke had in store for Antonnis Prinsen. We’ve only had small glimpses of him in the previous book by way of phone calls to his brothers but I had a feeling that when Tonnis met his match, he’d fall fast and hard. While he did fall pretty damn hard, fast wasn’t really applicable because when he returns to Anguilla for his brother’s weddi

Wow, the chemistry between Antonnis and Kristen sizzled! From hurt feelings from a relationship that had happened five years ago and ended to meeting up again for the wedding of Johannes and Saskia. They parted and Kristen was deeply hurt over him moving on. But when they get together for what was supposed to be one night, the fireworks were still there.

Again I don't usually read contemporaries but this is a novella & I read it for a judging contest. Surprisingly good and very entertaining (3rd story) in Jenna Bayley-Burke's Under the Caribbean Sun series--I may just read books one and two! This is a sexy New Adult novella that can be read in one sitting.

Very short and slightly raunchy book. I liked the end of the trilogy but it was to be expected. A very quick read, not very in depth and I felt the characters weren't as developed as those in the first 2 books in the series.
