Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling author, Nana Malone writes Sexy Feel-Good Romance and loves of all things romance and adventure.
That love started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.
I enjoyed this series. The girls had a great friendship. They made me laugh out loud a lot. They alwaYs want to kill somebody lol. The men were something else, that's all I'll say on that one ;) 4.5
This is the first book of an Amazing Series from Nana Malone about three friends who are closer than most biological sisters. It starts off with a bang and never lets up. Jaya and Alec's story is Intriguing and a definite must read. The reader is introduced to Jaya's best friends, Micha and Ricca who has her back through thick and thin. Character Chemistry is on. Point as with all Nana Malone's work.
The second story of of this series gives us insight on Beckett and Ricca's story which is just as intriguing as Jaya and Alec's. However, this may end up being my favorite couple of the series because Ricca & Beckett are very good friends that realize that they are meant to be more than just friends. Again, as with all of Nana Malone books the storyline and Character Chemistry is on point.
What a wonderful way to wrap up the best friends' trilogy! I was so excited Micha and Caleb finally gave in to their feelings for each other. The only thing that I hated about the story was that it was the end of the girls' journey.
The writing was good but the language was outputting.
I think I could have enjoyed this story more if the author wasn't such as potty mouth...I'm not so uptight that every curse word bothers me but Sheehan almost every word is a swear word, the story just seems a little vulgar to me....romance is supposed to be sweet, Abbas some of the stories'moments were sweetest but like I said some of the language kind of stole the show....but....the writing was really good....the stories are interesting with interesting plot twists and the characters were likable and only a tad annoying at times but those times made them normal humans....overall these were interesting well written stories which were limited by the excessive use of bad language and also by the wrap up which could have been a little neater with a more satisfactory glimpse or assurance of the couple's HEA.
Hot, Sexy, Smoking! Enjoyed this 3 book series as Jaya, Ricca, and Micha got the men of their dreams and learned a little bit about themselves a well! Put on your favorite footwear, pour your favorite beverage, and get ready for a good time with the girls.
This series is on fire. I love it. The series is full of mystery and suspense. with lots of steamy, hot sex scenes. Love the deep friendship, sisterhood. Professional women and the Alpha men who falls in love with them.
Sexy In Stilettos Sultry In Stilettos Sassy In Stilettos By Nana Malone Narrated by Traci Odom
I listened to all three back to back and was rewarded with a fun, sexy, sultry and sassy good time. The friends each have their own book starting with Jaya who meets Alec who is best friends with Caleb who fancies Micha and rounding out the trio is Ricca and Beckett who fancy each other.
I enjoyed the friendships, great to see the supportiveness among these six characters.
Sassy In Stilettos (Micha and Caleb) is my favorite even though it was book three. It was the most relatable to me and Caleb was just plain old sexy.
Sexy In Stilettos was book one and even though I liked Jaya, if I was her friend there were several times I’d have pinched her....her family .... I’ve no words for them....Alec was a God send to say the least.
Sultry In Stilettos was just a sweet story and I rooted for Ricca and Beckett to communicate and get it on!
All three books had a criminal element in them which enhanced an otherwise fairytale love story.
Traci Odom’s narration was great. She added layers to the characters, and there were a lot of them, yet she managed to give them individuality and I was never confused as to which character was speaking.
Well done Nana and Traci.
I will dive into the rest of the Stilettos series.
This series is just okay. I feel like for the first two books especially, Nana Malone has some odd time jumps and it feels like she's telling us what the characters did rather than showing. The sex scenes are hot, but I wasn't into the first couple because I don't they're relationship was really developed. In all three books, I feel like Nana Malone took on too many story lines at once and didn't quite tie them all together nicely in the end. It felt a bit rushed at times.
Only ok for me. I wasn't all that engaged and finishing the set became a bit of a chore. Maybe because each book involved characters with similar commitment phobia and didn't introduce anything particularly original. And as is typical with 'chic-lit' ex boyfriends are cheaters and women are psychos.
It was, however, nice to read about characters from a diverse range of ethnicities.
This series captured my interest from the first chapter. Each book was so hot and steamy and beautifully written. Definitely made my top five series list.
I enjoyed these three stories - laughs, love, tears, great characters, good backstories and good storylines. Well worth the read and I would read this author again.
