Dev and Drew had to leave beautiful Julia Benedict in New York and return to duty. She was gone when they got back. She ran scared straight back to her family in Lusty.

She was their woman, just had to convince her of it. Plan A takes place in Lusty.
The road is never straight in Lusty. Julia is kidnapped by a mixed up mexican drug lord's confused hired guy. He meant to take another woman but this one was worth more.

The passion is just the right amount. The muscle flexing is not overboard. The secondary characters are there but don't take over. It is a good story. Julia is a strong woman who ends up catching the bad guy.

Everything you need to know about why I hated this book in one sentence (the last line I read before I gave up): "“I feel like some sort of a prize possession, the way all you men keep passing me around and talking about me as if I wasn’t even here,” Julia mumbled."

Nothing worse than an anti-feminist heroine who doesn't collapse in a quivering heap when a gun is pointed at her, but becomes a swooning little girl when she's pushed around by bossy men even though she claims to hate that attitude. So, just to be clear: it’s *not* okay for your brothers to be domineering and to make decisions about your life without your input, but it *is* okay when the two trained killers you're sleeping with and have only known for a few months do the same. Because that's safe & sane.

I was given 2 other books in this series and barely got through them. I can't tell the difference (sex scenes, personalities, kidnap plots) between this and one of the others I was forced to read but I suspect the character's names have been changed.

Also, spit isn't ever going to be adequate lubricant for your first time having anal sex. Or ever. (Shudder)

I had fun reading this one. It started with Grandma Kate and how she maneuvered the guys living next door to Julia, then had me laughing with how the guys went about getting her back. I thought the Drew and Dev's plan of going around town, introducing themselves as her fiances and letting all the store owners to send Julia's bills their was ingenious! The only thing better was Julia's reaction, akin to a cartoon character with steam coming out her ears.

I was glad that things resolved between their relationship quickly because it left for some other fun things. I loved how all the males from town quickly came up to the men and gave them the stink eye, wanting to know their intentions and to make sure they were good enough for their girl.

The whole kidnap thing was so so, I could have done without it, but it did let us have a great scene at the end where the Lusty women got one over on the men to catch the bad guy and freak the men out, it was great!

I can't wait for the next book, it is one that I have been waiting for, Ginny with Adam and Jake, plus who can forget about all the cuteness that is Benny.

One night of exquisite pleasure between navy SEAL's Dev and Drew has Julia Benedict fleeing back to Lusty, Texas as they go back on assignment. Believing it was what it was, a one night stand, Julia is home to stay even though she can't get either men out of her thoughts.

Dev and Drew knew Julia was the one the moment they touched her. When their last mission shakes them up, they plan for their future with Julia. However, they have to track her down first and when that doesn't work, they begin phase 1 of their plan to make Julia their wife.

Julia has enough bossy males in her life, she had no plans to add more. As Dev and Drew begin to phase 1 of their mission to capture Julia, she has a few plans of her own to keep the SEAL's at bay.

Pretty good, didn't have the zing the other books have. Although for fans of this series you finally get a hint of Ginny's story which I am excited about.

Drew and Dev are two hot alpha men who the author did a terrific job keeping to the SEAL persona. This book showed two intelligent if not genius guys who use their skills to recapture Julia after their duty to their country resulted in having to leave their ideal girl thinking they were a 'love em and leave em' duo. These guys were able to systematically plan to finish what they started with the girl they left behind.

This book is witty, seductive, hot, quirky, exciting, and has a great story line. Characters from previous installments are back and add to the flavor of the book without being overpowering. The town and its inhabitants are written in such a way that I actually can believe this town exists and want to pack my bags and live there myself. I am definitely gong to buy other installments in this series and schedule to buy the next installment when it comes out.

I’ve read this entire series including the Founding Father’s books and they always contain hunky, strong, alpha men and the women (and men) they love. The last three books have had an ongoing “bad guy” character which is kind of unusual and thus I highly recommend that you read the books in order otherwise you might be a little lost. Because most of the people in Lusty are related to each other they weave in and out of these books and it can sometimes be hard to keep names and families straight. The heroes in this book actually set up a white board in their house trying to learn who belongs with whom.

This review was originally posted on Blushing Reads My Thoughts

We are back in Lusty! This was actually the very first Lusty book I read because I have a thing for Navy SEALs and I know that it is out-of-order but the great thing is that these books can be read as stand alones. There is a lot to love about Love Under Two Navy SEALs for so many reasons. First is the way the book begins.  Julia Benedict met Dev and Drew when she was working in New York. They had an amazing night together but then the guys unit was called up and they had to leave on a mission. One thing about being with a Navy SEAL is that you don't have any sort of communication with them at times. So you can just imagine what Julia thought when she didn't hear from them.

But no worries Grandma Kate is to the rescue and the guys find there way to Lusty where they tell everyone in town that Julia is their fiancee. The face-off is so great! The guys know what they want and they aren't going to accept anything less.
“Yeah, letters. We were coming for you, and only you. There will be no other woman for either of us, not ever. So we had ourselves tested. And, baby doll? We both passed.”

See what I mean? However it wouldn't be Lusty if something didn't happen and Julia is mistaken for Peter's woman which gets her kidnapped by a drug lord. That's where having two SEALs comes in handy. They can do things the law and most others can't. Not one to sit around and wait to be rescued Julia helps her situation along. There are a few things I really love about this book.

First is the dynamic between Julia, Dev, and Drew. It is simply great! There is enough suspense with the kidnapping to add to the excitement and the way the women deal with issue is great! They simply take charge and don't back down. We also get to see the Adam, Ginny, and Jake relationship begin to blossom here. I love the way Adam tells Ginny it ain't over when she actively takes part in the women's scheme. All in all this is one of my favorite books of the series. In fact I think I need to read it again :)

*** I love Cara Covington's Lusty, Texas tales in this series. ***
I've read them all, so there is no turning back. Each one is different, each new set of people meld into the town that is full of awesome characters.
The history of the town is fascinating and the men and women take life and live to the fullest. Dev and Drew, Navy SEALS, want Julia, especially after their one night together. Wow !
When she is taken by the evil drug lord, the SEALS and the town of men and sharp shooting women, prove to us that no one messes with their town in Texas !
The story is suspenseful, the series is interesting and addicting. The characters are deeply thoughtful, sexy and romantic. The threesome work at figuring out the best way to make this relationship work.
Kate weaves her magic once again, while love takes root, and the three can be together.
We always want more !
I've read the whole series, love this author's writing, and fabulous characters!
ENJOY !!

Julia Benedict ran from New York and more importantly from the two men she loves..and that's just not the Benedict way...Devon Wakefield and Andrew James were sent out on a mission seeing as how their SEALs and when they return all they want to do is tell the woman they love that they never plan to let her go..only when they return she's gone....Grandma Kate lends another helping hand....onto the next

I loved this book. I can really relate to Drew's whiteboard to keep track of all the relationships within Lusty (and loved the comment "I'm definitely going to need another whiteboard"). I'm reading this series out of order so it was good to read of the events referenced in later books.

This story hung together really nicely and yes I'm glad I read it.

Oh just lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed the Alpha males Drew and Dev and the building of their relationship with Julia. While there is a certain amount of repetition from book to book, I'm really liking this series.

This story had a lot of on the edge of my seat tension & suspense but a lot of laughter too. A great story and an interesting cliff hanger.
