A perfectly tatty romp, exactly what I'd hoped for from this book at this time.
It was three short stories, and each focused on a different sister and a different plot threat, which kept each one entertaining.
Because we the readers already know the characters and the setting, no time was wasted on set up and descriptions.
I could quickly read a page and get so much from it, because the authors captured each character's tone so well, and I've seen the show so much that I can immediately read it in their voice and picture it easily.
Happy to have read it, and just in time for me to wrap it and gift it to my sister with her being none the wiser 🎁

I won't lie I only read this because I wanted to read about Phoebe/Cole 😂 before you know doomsday.
That said, I'd rank Phoebe's story 2nd, and Paige's 1st I'm always here for a Leo/Cole team up. I LOVE IT. What I liked about Phoebe's / Samhain was learning about the former Halliwell who married a demon, that was cool. I don't know the order, but both Samhain and Truth and Consequences had a character from the French Revolution. Um, why? Sigh Piper's / Imbolc is about Piper and pregnancy and honestly I was blah about it.

Seasons of the Witch vol 1 has the Charmed Ones (Piper, Phoebe, and Paige) starting in three short stories of the holiday genre. Phoebe starts the book off by contacting an ancestor on Halloween and perfectly reflects her character from the show. Paige then tired of her responsibilities goes to a club only to meet a demon that threatens the Power of Three and the world. Lastly Piper finally has time off however with Paige’s orbing having issues and thoughts of pregnancy; she doesn’t exactly get what she is looking for. This book is good for any fan of the series as it is about sisterhood and reflects the past and the magic that is Charmed

First two stories were really good but the last one for me was just stupid. I kept waiting for the reason for the problem and it was all because of cold medicine?? It was almost like they got to the end and realised they had no idea how to actually end the story. The whole story felt so silly and disjointed, just ruined the trilogy for me.

This book is a compilation of 3 stories. In my opinion from best to last best is Yule, Samhain, Imbolc. Each holds a story true to the fun trapsing that the Charmed ones do on the show, and hold a fun quality to them while also being very quick paced. exciting read and a must for Charmed fans.

There was minimal continuity errors from the series (they even maintained Paige’s sobriety!) and it was fun and compelling. The last story was a little rushed at the end and I wish it was longer, but as a whole it’s definitely one of the better tie ins.

Firstly I am a huge fan of Charmed! Everything Charmed. From the TV series, the books and the actual interest of Wicca itself. This is one of the books that had been on my bookshelf for a while, and after getting some inspiration from BookRatMisty over on Youtube, I decided to set myself a goal for this October: Spooky Samhain - I picked several paranormal/spooky books to read through the month of October and this was the first one I read. I only read the first of the three stories in the book, the Samhain one and found it to be a nice, enjoyable read. Here is my review:
The main character in this story is Phoebe Halliwell, who on Halloween, decides to contact a dead ancestor. Hoping that it's Prue, she manages to persuade her other sisters to help her perform a seance. They manage to contact an ancestor, Pamela. The candle's are blown out and the sister's believe the spell hasn't worked, but when a voice from inside Phoebe begins to talk to her, she realises the spell went awry. We later find out Pamela has jumped into Phoebe's body so she can contact her demon husband, Qalmor, who no longer kills witch's because of the love spell Pamela placed on him whilst she was still alive, and to inform him his greatest enemy has found a way to destroy him, but at a price.
That's all I want to say on the plot really without giving too much of it away as they are only short stories. I find with all of the TV books like Charmed, Buffy etc, very easy to read because if you've seen the shows we know the characters and find it easy to jump into the world the author is creating for us. This is a good book to read if you are a reluctant reader, don't have much time for reading, or simply a fan of the show.

This seemed very much like a rote TV series to book adaptation, with the quality of the stories at the lower end of the scale. There’s not much to complain about here, but there’s not much to get excited about either. This was a very ho-hum sort of a read.

I never get tired reading this book over and over. I especially like Piper's story. While people say that the book is pretty much the same as the TV series, ithink it's what made it a great book. The only thing ididnt like is that Constance M. Burge didnt write a Volume 2.

Like all the other Charmed novels, a great book, though this one is a lot of fun with the themed stories, and just as good as the actual show.

I like this book... It had different stories and in each sisters POV..
it was also creative and the writer caught the charmed sister's personality well! it was a really enjoyable read!
