Based upon the "Ask the Astronomer" section of the author's award-winning Web site, The Astronomy Cafe, this text presents 365 of the most popular questions asked by real people about all things astronomical. The book is organized around topics the sun, the origin of the universe, the solar system, and telescopes and stargazing, which enables the reader to quickly find a question similar to their own and retrieve an answer. An Internet resources listing is also included in the volume.
Lots of cool and obtuse factual info on a day-by-day basis about our universe. Nice for conversational trivia as well as understanding some of the core concepts in the galaxy. Odenwald writes well and has some sense of humor (for an astronomer, I guess.)
Really enjoyed this book. Now all my friends on here will really know what a science-geek I am. It's from teaching science. My favorite is astronomy and quantum mechanics.
