The Bible calls human life a vapor. A mist. A wisp of fog. A flower that springs up in the morning and fades away by mid-afternoon. We like to think we have years to pursue our goals, raise our families, and make a difference in the world. But we just don't know. The fact is, our stay on earth is really very brief. A fantastic devotional for each day. Chock full of inspiration, biblical scripture, & personal stories on hurt.

I was very pleased with this devotional. Pastor Greg wrote this shortly after loosing his son Christopher. The devotional is definitely a good one for those who have recently lost a loved one or carry a burden of pain but it is also great for anyone.
There are verses and devotionals for every day of the year, however the weekend (Saturday, Sunday) devotionals count as one. Every other day is listed by name to keep you on track. The devotionals start out with a verse and Pastor Greg refelcts on that verse and gives some insight. Overall, it is very thoughtful and a great read for the mornings.
