A friend told me she was surprised that I even tried to read this book. Darn. *Baba makes hurt face* Nah, I'm just kidding, I can take a little ribbing. Anyway, let me wallow in my little fantasy here before I give in and admit I'm simply delusional. How many times is a story living up to its hot as f@ck cover? It's a very sad fact that these books are few and far between. So while the lick-tastic cover of Rellik is worthy of six stars, it is

The thing about sins is they don't have to be your own to haunt you.

Did you read the book blurb? Did you get anything from it? No? Good! Because you won't get much out of my review either. Though I do have to say that I had thought the book was not quite what the blurb hinted at...and not in a bad way.

If you like your books gritty, dark, and erotic, say hello to a series that you will obsess over. Or at least I'm hoping it will be a series, because if Teresa Mummert doesn't give the

Initial reaction: Yeah, I regret finishing this unrealistic, wannabe AU "Revenge" fanfic riddled with glaring editorial errors, unrealised characters, and textbook cliches of the genre. Full review and discussion to come.

Reviewer's Note: For this review, I decided to do one of my usual poetic reviews to illustrate the problems of this narrative, with some helpful inserts from yours truly along with the cast of characters from Rellik. I do not own these characters, this is just a

If I had reviewed this book a year or two ago, I would've given it a much higher rating. But I have come to realize that even though the authors are indie or self published, it is possible for their work and story telling to be of an exceptional level. I have read so many brilliant books by authors like these over the past year and I think it's important for me to be consistent in the way that I rate.

That said, I found this book utterly bizarre, nonsensical, far-fetched and confusing. None of

“Some people are born this way, unable to control the urge. I was created.”

I have been dying to get my hands on this book since I first saw it up on goodreads. That cover, the title, that vague blurb...I was completely sold and couldn’t wait to see what it was all about.

Ella Leighton and Rellik Bentley both have dark secrets. Ella is on the move, hiding from her past, but also searching for answers that she desperately needs. Rellik is a local rock star hiding his darkness in plain sight in

LOL I just NOW realized that the title of this book (which has been on my radar a while now) is "KILLER" cleverly spelled backwards...

This was a really fast read for me and for the most part, I was hooked. I really enjoyed the dark, raw and unfiltered shadows and demons that lurked throughout both Rellik Bentley’s and Ella Leighton’s POVs.

I enjoyed this book, while parts of it really confused me. Never found out about the Dream Killer??Ella was a little to wishy washy in places - I mean she asked him to do bad things, then got mad at him for doing things and called him a monster, then asked him to do it again...umm hello?? Over all I really liked the book and would recommend it to everyone to check out. :)

"Fucked-up people take pleasure in fucked-up things"

Rellik Bentley and Ella Leighton story…

Rellik is to die for swoon worth “material”. He is a strong and yet a very broken guy!!

Ella… she is so imperfectly perfect!!

A raw tale of lust, vengeance, betrayal, heartbreak, calculated revenge, abuse and a slash of fucked up hotness. You think you know what's going into this book forget it and just enjoy every twist and turn as the plot unfolds, and even with all the madness in this book there is love,

Seriously, I was so excited awaiting the chance to read this book – but it just didn’t live up to the hype and fell way short of the expectations. In addition to the meandering style of writing in the wildly unrealistic storyline, it was riddled with so many editing problems. Bummer!

My biggest complaint in reading this story is that there just isn’t a solid foundation or much explanation for anything or reasons given. The major twist to the story is revealed fairly early on. The "Dream Killer"

Rellik is exactly my type of book. I have to be grabbed by the throat and balls by the first paragraph. And Teresa Mummert's words never flinch with their grip. She will twist your mind and your heart with equal measure. I could never guess where the plot was going, and that's the kind of read that makes me purr. With Rellik, you will read it all in one huge gulp. Get ready for book hangover because Rellik will beat the heck out of you before he shows you his man stick and make you beg for it.

Oh, where to start? There really isn't a good starting place because Rellik starts you in the middle of the beginning and then takes you to the beginning of the end and then to the end of the middle....see my dilemma?

Damn. This book gave me a migraine.

This was one of my most anticipated books of 2014. The blurb....the cover....the title....everything screamed this was going to be an epic read. Maybe my expectations were too high.

I knew this wasn't going to be a typical love story. I wanted the dark and twisty, But for me, this story was just mess.

Ella and Rellik...Gosh, where do i begin?

The mysterious meeting between these two was intriguing. I knew there was a LOT more going on under

Actual rating: Half A Star. yes...seriously.

Another cover buy...You'd think I would have learned my lesson by this point right. But no...after reading that synopsis again, I know for a FACT that I was mesmerized solely by this cover because this isn't even something I would read!

I hated this book. It's that simple. I don't even know where to start. So I'm just going to run everything down until I feel I've touched all the bases.

I was SO So excited for this book and I'm seriously let down. I'm so upset.
This book was just simply poorly written and unrealistic in my opinion.
Don't write about an alpha male who HATES kissing and is the biggest asshole then have him calling a girl darling and sweetie a few pages later, kissing her the first night he met her.
No. Just No.
I feel like this COULD have been a much better book. If it was better written.

Apparently it’s not normal to lick a book cover (or kindle in my case), but have you seen the cover of Rellik? Have you read the blurb? I’ll admit, I do judge books by their cover and when this cover was revealed, I just knew I had to have it.

Rellik is the lead singer of a band. They’re on tour, with no real inclination of actually making it in the music business; they’re just kind of taking it day by day. When they wind

Wow. For those of you who have never read a Teresa Mummert book, I highly recommend Rellik. This is definitely NOT your average love story. This is a story about two dysfunctional people and their imperfectly perfect love. Ryder "Rellik" Bentley and Mikaella "Ella" Lighten were the epitome of two jacked up souls. But as fate would have it, those two souls found each other after enduring loss, disappointment, and abuse...and made something tragically sweet together. Rellik is the perfect ...more

~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads Review Team~

The blurb about the book intrigued me, however, when I started to read the book I got at totally different vibe from the book. I read this book in one sitting I was sucked into the story that fast. The blurb made it sound like Rellik was just a cocky jerk who used and abused women but honestly he was so much more than that. This story had everything heartbreak, revenge, lust, love, hate, you name it. Rellik is

I've been anxiously awaiting this book for so so long and I'm so sad cause it's just not for me. I feel like the entire plot was just underdeveloped and the book should have been longer so that it wasn't so fast paced. I didn't understand the relationship between the hero and heroine, it was based on lies and trauma and I just didn't buy it, again I feel if the book was longer their relationship would have had time to properly grow. I feel like the characters also went a bit downhill, I loved ...more

If you like books where the hero is a murderer/rockstar and who is in love with his dead girlfriend, who looks exactly like his current girlfriend, then this book is for you. If you like stories that have so many flashbacks that you get whiplash, then again this story is for you. I just don't understand the appeal of this typo laden story or the appeal of the main two characters.
