Sara Fawkes has always loved spinning tales, but her romantic roots come from sneaking her mother's old Johanna Lindsay books from the dresser drawer. SUMMARY (50 words or less)

Well with the cliffy and how it ended, I had no choice but to pick this one up. It was a really quick read and not much is learned actually. There is far more action and building up the mystery than there was heat. And again a cliffy, predictable one.

I left similar comments on Amazon and just want to air out my feelings about this. Understand that I LOVE THIS STORY LINE! However, the format infuriates me! This...novella/essay is all of 90 pages. I repeat-90 pages!! I understand the need to break books up to some degree for climactic effect and to keep readers interested. But every 90 pages? Really? It seems a little costly for that amount of material.

Spoilers could be here!!

The storyline is still well-developed and i must say that I hate the fact that Lucy decided to have a relationship with Jeremiah's brother. It will probably ruin her relationship, if you can call it that, in the end. Lucas is still a jerk. He makes a huge mistake by getting involved with Lucy. He claims to be disenfranchised but I think he's just a spoiled brat who likes to throw conquests in his brothers face. None of them are good for each other. Lucy seems codependent and lacks self respect. Jeremiah is arrogant, pompous, presumptuous and lacks the ability to express his feelings. Lucas is just a jerk. I have absolutely no respect for him.

As for the newly introduced characters, they lack development or worth really. I do look forward to the Alexander Rush twist and also to hear Jeremiah's ROAR which I believe will be soon.

I truly do enjoy the story but I hate what seems to be an attempt to maximize profitability at consumer expense.

I read all 7 'parts' in one sitting. The advantage was that the cliffhangers were not so annoying. The disadvantage, the story was a little bit choppy.
Anyways, this last part has to be the BEST. I found Lucy not so whiny, Jeremiah not so psycho and Lucas simply ADORABLE.

Awww...LOVE TRIANGLES *sigh

I know we are supposed to root for the main characters (H/h) and their HEA, but LUCAS was the reason I kept reading this series. If not for him I would have stopped in # 2 or 3.
The first two parts of this story was much more like a not so good version of 50SoG that now turned into a Romantic Suspense/Thriller with 'interesting' plot (at least interesting enough to keep reading) a la Anne Stuart, with lots of guns, kidnappers, and rescues. I'm a Romantic Suspense lover, I loved it! :D

Yes, there is a freaking CLIFFHANGER so obviously there is going to be a part 8 and probably 2 more after that...
I think the author was able to 'turn tables' and make this story a little more entertaining than a simple 50SoG copy cat and for that I'm thankful and really curious to know what's going to happen next. When I started reading this series I did not think I would say this, but YES I'm really looking forward to the next installment.

Part 2 starts off just where part 1 ended (abruptly). Jeremiah has just come to rescue Lucy from Lucas. But soon they find that the threats aren't over. There is someone set out to destroy both brothers and Lucy might just find herself in the middle again.

We know that she loves one brother, Jeremiah and that she found comfort in the arms of the other, Lucas. But will the truth destroy her chance of ever being with Jeremiah? Part 2 had some suspense and drama, a little low key on the sex - but it was well played into the story. Sara Fawkes teases us with what would have/could have been the original ending - a cliffhanger. But goes on to write another chapter which made me melt. But then she went and did it again....cliffhanger! I think this one takes the cake so far.

I just needed a few more minutes of this story before it ended. But I have to admit, this just leaves me craving more. I had not purchased the original series in parts, but as a single purchase...part of me wishes I could hold out and wait for these to be released as one...but I can't. She has hooked me right back into the story and I won't be able to keep myself from eating them up as soon as they are released.

LOL IT ENDED ON A PART I WOULD CALL MY FAVORITE..
The Hoe Chronicles continued...
Lol This part was really nothing.. nothing special happened for 2.99 i skimmed majority of it because i want feeling and passion and this was nothing but Lucy tryna glorify her hoe-ish ways. She slept with a brother on a rebound.. lol OKAY.. There is no way around it.. she can only face her actions head on which we wont see til installment 8

Lucy will soon realize (praying actually) that rebound sex with one's brother does not constitute feelings for the brother she willingly spread her legs for while in love with another

**Review Update**

It pains me to do this but I was not happy with this installment. I am just going to say this felt like a filler book. HUGE SIGH. I want to slap Lucy.

I just hope the next installment leaves me wanting more.

Putting all of my books on pause and reading this now! I have a love/hate relationship with mini-novels. I hate them b/c they make me wait, but I love them b/c they are so good!

DNF! Stopped at about 80% of the book. I'm sorry I really wanted to like it as much as I liked the first book in this series, but my dislike for Lucy and all the awkwardness happening in this part of the story is really... Well, I can't even say I'm irritated, since for that you at least have to feel some kind of interest in the story. I'm just simply bored of it all, and couldn't keep on.

At first I liked Lucy's character even though I thought she was kind of a hoe, but now she totally killed any type of empathy I felt towards her by doing what she did with______, and had me reiterating what I first thought of her. She has no self control. SHE IS A HOE!

Lucas...
I never cared about him.

I think Jeremiah's character is what kept me interested, but his complete loss of integrity in this part of the story was the final straw to my already extremely bored mind. Couldn't care less what happens from this point forward in this book or the other books in this series.

I hate not finishing a series. And call me harsh, but I'm not sorry to say, I will not be getting a HEA on this one!

It's whatever!

The reason I'm giving this book 3 stars is because I do like the author writing style. The story is just not for me.

Dig, dig, dig ...

What's that sound, you ask? That's our Lucy trying to dig her way out of the mess she created. Uhm, yeah ... good luck with that, girlfriend! Maybe in the next installment she can do ? Why not, right? Keep it all in the family.

How many more of these little novellas do we get before the crazy train that's also known as Lucy reaches it's destination? I find this series very entertaining, mainly thanks to Lucas. At least the guy knows how to have fun unlike Jeremiah, who sounds like he was tragically born without personality.

3.5 stars for Part 7.

What a cliffhanger! I can't wait for this story to continue...it is torture waiting like this!!!!
I am torn between Jeremiah and Lucas myself. I love both male characters whereas Lucy just seems so naive and dumb at times. The story is hot and full of suspense yet with Lucy it is almost comical at times because she always seems to get herself into some sort of mess!

I loved this book/novella. I wanted to hate it because of my absolute disgust for Lucy...but I loved it. So lets get to the nitty gritty.

FUCK YOU LUCY
K. Still doesn't make me feel any better but it needed to be said. I mean WTF. She proclaims her love to Jeremiah - gets rejected then ends up in bed with his delicious brother Lucas aka Loki only a few short days later. Oh yeah Lucy, you REALLY LOVE Jeremiah. Hah. I'm gonna say it right now..(not that I think Lucy slut deserves any of these two) but I am rooting for Lucas. He's my book boyfriend. Yup. All love here. Jeremiah just doesn't do it for me. Lets also not forget that Jeremiah dismissed Lucys love...more brownie points for Lucas. Since the first moment I read about him there was this pull. I wanted him to be with Lucy so bad. He's all rough and tough but under that posterior lies such an intriguing, kind, hot as hell and mouth watering man. And that scar? uhmmmm can we say..YUMMY!
Now here's my issue...she slept with both brothers and led Lucas on to believe she cared for him and all the while she was just using him to comfort her. USER BITCH. dont mess with my book bf. thanks.
I know it was Lucas who actually put Lucy in that uncomfortable situation and I also tried asking myself if I was in that predicament and thought I could possibly die would I want to find comfort in someone who's not only available to me but so fucking oh my god attractive? Even if I just admitted my love for his brother? Probably. But I'm judging Lucy ,not myself. Heh ;) yea hypocritical. Anywho. The story itself has some interesting turn of events. New characters are introduced and one in particular is very pleasant. There's some twists and turns but honestly , even though there's someone (and that someone is now identified) that is hell bent on killing all of them, what I'm more interested in is this stressful love triangle going on. Even though Lucy does annoy the shit out of me and sometimes makes my skin crawl...i cant seem to stop reading and feel an incredible amount of built up anxiety as to whats to come at the ending of each novella..so that's why this is a 5 star read to me. Love it. Hate it. Obsessed with it. Intrigued with it. All this equals some good reads in my book. And Maybe my disgust for Lucy is actually a twinge of jealouy...but all in all I'm dying to get my paws on the next novella ..so to conclude this review..if you'd actually call this lump of uselessness that, I'd absolutely recommend this series. :P

Overview

Tensions escalate in the second part of the new Anything He Wants series!

Reunited with Jeremiah, Lucy is forced to come to grips with the decisions she's made in his absence. The billionaire is as insufferable as ever, but just as determined to protect Lucy. From the Caribbean seas of Jamaica to the man-made islands of Dubai, they must travel halfway across the world to find out who is trying to bring down the Hamilton family.

But it may be the woman who comes between them that tears the two brothers apart forever. And can Lucy bear to live with the consequences of her actions?

My Thoughts

We open these chapters with the return of Jeremiah who has somehow managed to locate Lucas' (Loki's) ship and has come to rescue her. The problem of course being that nothing is ever that simple. especially when dealing with the Hamilton brothers. Lucy is torn between what she's done and what Jeremiah means, and it gives us a tension ridden story.

The interesting thing about this installment of the series is that there's not too much steamy-ness so to speak. What we get here is a lot of internalization from Lucy's part on what she wants, what she can admit and deciding what that means in the future.

This story takes us from the ship to the Caribbean (i believe Jamaica) and then overseas to Dubai. It's quite interesting to me to see the dynamic there and to meet the folks that we do meet. What's even more interesting to me is that we don't quite know what the role is of the folks that we are introduced (namely Rashid) and what his relationship is with Lucas that has taken them overseas in the first place.

I really enjoyed this middle ground of the series since it gives is a chance to take a break from sexual tension and really get at the heart of things. you see the brothers trying to make a move against each other while potentially realizing that there's more to their story - and you see Lucy caught in the middle. not that she doesn't know what she wants, but she's afraid of the implication to her actions.

can't wait for book 3 in the Castaway series!

I gave quite a bad review on #1. I'm am pleasantly pleased how this went. I wasn't really looking forward so much to book 2 because I was so mad at Lucy (and Sara too) for behaving the way she did. Reading this next installment has helped me get over my anger towards both. I honestly feel bad for her because she thought she had been thrown away like yesterday's trash. Still, she could have controlled herself a bit.

In this next installment Lucy comes to terms with her emotions - to a point, and makes a decision on who she really wants to be with and follows through with passionate love making. But, will this be enough for these 2 to last??? I still don't know.

I was thrilled with the 'action' in this edition. The writer was much better too. Not to say Sara is a bad writer, because she definitely isn't at all! I have read 7 of her installments so obviously, I like her writing style or I wouldn't continue getting these installments. I would have liked more chapters and I'm again left 'hanging'... Hopefully not too long a wait.

I do recommend this series because it is very good... It really peaks your interest and shock. Sara has a way of making you 'see' what you read. Especially in this book when they were on atv's in the desert looking out at the horizon and when she described it. Man, sounded beautiful, like I was really there seeing it for myself!

I especially enjoyed the turn around in personal attitudes let's put it that way without spoiling anything too badly but I really like that Jeramiah (sp?) basically got on his hands and knees...instead of being the ass hat that he had been!

Completely thrilled with this latest addition and anxious for the 3rd to come out!

I battled with myself whether or not i should read this book, eventually my love for Jeremiah won over, even while i'm reading i close my e-reader every 10 minutes or so cause i'm irritated. I know definitely that i'll read the next, hoping that Jeremiah leaves Lucy. The series gets worse by the book. Gosh, it only got a three star cause i like Jeremiah. The story line sucks!!!! I like a book with a believable story, I'm not 10 anymore, I'm done with the Nancy Drews!! Stop adding so much fake a**, bulls***y drama, I'm already freaking exhausted!! Lucy should have been thrown overboard the ship, geez i hate the slut!! Please Jeremiah, leave that skank alone and go back to the states and handle your affairs, leave her nasty behind for Lucas, she's more his type of girl, save yourself the embarrassment. I hope you see she's not the innocent girl you thought she was, only adding more problems to an already dysfunctional family. Lucas, give up the Jeremiah hate game!! It's getting old. It's not his fault that both of you got f***ed by your father, the life he loved was pulled from under him also but he still tried and made the best out of it, why couldn't you? You decided to pick one of the crapiest life possible and blame it on your brother!!! Plus we all know you're mad cause the slut that you're in love with is in love with your brother. Sara Fawkes, the series still has potential of being better(seeing that we're maybe not halfway through this crappy drama), just stick to the lines that u currently have, she slept with his brother, and his other brother from God knows where is trying to kill them, if not lady, take my advice, close off on the next book and go ponder on something better to write !!!

this short story was pages away from being a one star sort of read. the story telling leaves much to be desired. I was about 70 pgs in when I asked myself "why am I still reading this?"... but it ended well enough.

I appreciated the fact that Lucy realized she just used Lucas as a sad rebound and that the story didn't turn into this horrific torn love scenario. but my goodness.. I am still at a loss in regards to Lucy's new bff, Amarya. that friendship dynamic was somehow a one way ticket to creep town for me.

I was surprisingly unsurprised by the notion that there is another Hamilton bro out there... and I'll be even less surprised when Lucy sleeps with him too.

I'm like 98% sure that the grand finale for this series will involve some sort of incestuous orgy. But I would be fooling no one if I said I wouldn't be right there reading said orgy the moment it came out lol.

I really do not like Lucy at all. I kind of want them to toss her into the ocean and move it along.

*******SPOILERS*******

So now that Jeremiah has come to her rescue right after she was all over his bro, Lucy doesn't know what to do. The brothers are bickering over poor old Lucy and her safety but Lucy thinks shes just fine for having been kidnapped a few times.

At one point Lucy tells a Amyrah "screw your brother" (this chick trying to ruin this girls life), I chuckled cuz that seems to be Lucy's thing since she goes back to bedding Jeremiah after his plea that he needs her. Poor Lucas sees J leaving Lucy in the morning, he knows they did the deed and wonders if he had a chance. Neither want Jeremiah to know their secret.Well guess what?! Jeremiah knows something! Oh and also, Lucy may have another of the Hamilton bros to bed!

Oh the drama keeps getting better and better with each book that passes. While I usually enjoy reading them in parts like this, I am considering waiting and just getting the full book at the end of the series. The cliffhangers that we are left with are starting to bother me, I suppose that could just be because I want to know what happens next and just don't want to wait.

While the excitement that happened in this part completely caught me off guard, I don't think that it makes up for the cliffhanger at the end! I know I backed down on my word that I was going to wait until the end so I could read them all at once, and after reading this one, I'm back on that choice!

There is a couple questions I have after reading this book and it's going to be horrible wondering what is going to happen next!

Holly hell this series! This series has gotten the quiet I don't want anyone to know I read girl posting comments on blogs and up giggling at night reading snippets! Castaway 2 obviously leaves you wanting to read a ton more but I was also shocked I started cheering and having my own feelings for an under rated Hamilton and I hope we get to learn more about him. And oh my has Lucy gotten herself into a pickle a juicy pickle and let me tell you there could be more pickles for her to bite out of! The cliffhanger is amazing and I can't wait for the next installment but I have to let a woman write I'm not a Hamilton I can't just burst in put a gun to miss fawkes head and demand a manuscript like a certain character of hers would! I am truly impressed with this installment go read it!
