This book was a woman's account of how when finding her first apartment for college, it turned out to be haunted. I felt that the writing was a bit amateurish and at times perhaps a bit contrived? While what this woman went through certainly caught her off guard as she did not believe in the paranormal at all when this tale began, that may have led to the simplistic purpose in her choice of writing style as she presented the account of her experiences. Encountering this for the first time led her to disbelieve much of what she was experiencing until finally things ultimately went to such extremes she could not deny their existence any longer. She was frightened, alone, and faced something she had never believed in much less faced before. That said, there were things that just didn't seem to add up. Why didn't she leave as soon as her first lease was up? She watched all the other tenants in the quad-plex building coming and going yet she stayed claiming she had no where else to go ... Elements like this left me a bit bewildered. Read it for yourself and draw your own conclusions.
