no. lame. and this guy is a professor in a university? while there are some funnier stories of dumb criminals, there are also a lot of crass stories. while these stories are true, they are a waste of time to read. don't waste your time with this book.

You can find this stuff and better on you tube. I would not be surprised if that is not where he found these little paragraphs...not even stories.

I’m really glad this was a free book. I expected stories, since that IS what the title promises. Instead these are two to three sentence summaries of crimes. Even these short summaries are badly written.
The crimes are not always incredibly dumb, either. Many are fairly common and unsurprising.
This was a complete waste of my time.

Dumb Criminals

This was a fun read, and a great way to have reinforced that no one is perfect. Thankfully some people do such dumb things to make us laugh. Thank you Professor Birdsong for helping me smile. At the end of the day there are those who make me feel brilliant.

Not worth The Read

I downloaded this book with high expectations that it would be a relaxing, funny read. I sadly only made it through a couple of pages before giving up, however, because it was poorly written and not entertaining in the slightest bit. I do not recommend it.

Hilariously funny

Very dumb criminals

This book was just as funny as Professor Birdsong's other 177 dumbest criminals :international. My only problem with this book was the fact that a couple of entries are in the other book. This is no biggie, but for someone, who likes to read these kinds of stories it can be a wait a minute moment of didn't I just read this a day or two ago. Will I read anymore of his books, yes I will read some more because I like reading about people, who do things that are not very bright especially crooks.

The book's blurb says "Dumb enough to make you laugh out loud" -- not really, at least for me. I don't think I LOL'd once. Maybe a few chuckles or smiles. But these are mostly just silly or crass stories.

If you're just looking for a quick read to pass the time, this book fills the bill. 2 stars.
