When Damaris won a charity raffle she was far from overjoyed, for the first prize was an evening out with Joel Agar - the man she considered to be an arrogant swine! The evening was not a great success - they seemed destined to rub each other up the wrong way. Nonetheless, she had to admit a nerve-tingling electricity in Joel's presence that she'd never known before. Then the roses arrived - and kept on coming. What should she do?...
Not too bad, but not that memorable either. The hero was more complex and I almost wish it would have been longer to go deeper and have a more satisfying ending. Overall it was a quick read, which is what I was looking for.
