A mega book. Over 600 pages. Seriously everything you will want to know about Facebook from what kind of page to create for your business to the rules of holding a Facebook contest. There are all sorts of tips from analytics to gaining likes to details of a landing page to iFrames to apps to things you wouldn't think of but could land your business page in Facebook jail.

Worth a read if you are creating any kind of Facebook page. It's separated into 9 minibooks. It's simple, straightforward, and a great reference. I had to renew it several times from the library, but next time, I think I'd swallow the cost and own it.

Great reference.

Clear simple explanations that are more than adequate for a one-person business like mine. The quality of the screenshots is just sufficient.

It also covered Facebook advertising in detail.
I've thought about using Facebook for my business many times before, but there are so many features that I've never really gotten used to it.
This book has inspired me to look into Facebook Groups more next time.

There is nothing really impressive about this book. Some simple generic suggestions for a beginner who never used Facebook.

They will not solve your real problems.

The biggest issue is that this book was already seriously out of date when it was printed.

Facebook announced huge changes in early 2012.

Some of the content is still valuable. The issue is many of the screenshots do not look like Facebook today and you can no longer do many of the things the way they are described in this book.

Reader beware.

It's a good book on the ideas behind marketing but as another reviewer said and you might have noticed, this book was made in 2013, and as of my reading it's midway through 2015. Some things are seriously out of date, but the underlining principles are still there. You just have to skip the walk-throughs.

The second printing of this book is really amazing. Even though it is hard to capture Facebook, the authors really provide so much marketing advice it is totally worth it to own.
