Not bad, but meant for a milder clime than I live in. Good for describing different forms and how to prune for them.

I planted two espalier Apple trees in my yard this spring. I developed my approach thanks to Google. I have a palmetto and a cordon tree. I may have apples next year! I have now read two books on espalier trees. This book has become my encyclopedia for how to do it right. The book discusses the life of the tree. I am now thinking of acreage with a Belgian fence of trees with a long pergola.... Look the terms up- your yard may change.
