My son loved this book. Then again, he loves almost any book written by Mercer Mayer. This book is a "I-Can-Read" type book, and states that it is a Level 3 book for those children who are reading with confidence (Grades 1-2). What I like about this type "Little Critter" book is that it has skills and practice pages in the back.
