Margaritas and Redfish

Rate this book
In this engaging and accessible book of poems, Ken Hada offers readers an increasingly rare vision: the portrait of a man connected to the natural world, telling a life of loons, herons, candles, and campfires, rocks, stars, thunder, and the moon. These poems are clear companions in a world too often confused by concrete and steel, information overload and nature deficit-disorders. Read them slowly, one a day, or the book all at once through. You will find here respect, generosity, and gratitude. You will be glad you came.

Hada came and spoke in our class and signed our copies of his book. I enjoy his poetry - the imagery of camping in the mountains resonates with me.
