Reading Linked Lives reminded me of my own dear friend Charlene who died way too soon. Like Bonny and Lori, Charlene and I had a friendship that lasted many years, through husbands, pregnancies, children, job changes and tragedies. Bonny's book brought it all back to me, and I must admit, I grieved again for the friendship that enriched my life.
