The book aims to offer a dramatic account of how the "Glasnost" boat managed to complete the toughest ocean race in the world.

A very interesting insight into the logistic and politics of international ocean racing.

Lots of struggles, breakages and financial difficulties along the way but in the end they did rather better than one might have expected!

An absolutely crazy story! Could have done with a bit more info on the actually sailing, but full of enough twists and last minute escapes to make it a hell of a tale
