The story progresses well until pretty much all of the tension is resolved at the halfway mark, which forces the heroine to act like a reason-defying twat in order to squeeze another hundred pages of narrative out of an already thin story.

one of my favorite theme in romance novel is brooding hero and sunshine heroine but this book didn't give me any thrill while reading it. I felt hero gave reclusiveness too early . dialogues were blah... too many monologues..ummm.. I just finished the book and I dun even remember what to write about it anymore. even then I give two star for the theme.

"Plumley returns with a new novel in her Morrow Creek series: a western version of Beauty and the Beast. Opposites attract in this funny, loving battle of the sexes with strong characters and lots of witty banter. Readers are in for a sizzling treat (RT Book Reviews)". 4 stars
