Put aside a few hours and be prepared to fall in love with Blake and Ana. I certainly did.

Ok, I also fell in love with Blake's niece and nephews too and one in particular, Billy steals nearly every scene he's in.

The chemistry is strong with Blake and Ana and only seems to strengthen when a family emergency sees Blake stuck with 5 kids. Reading the scenes with the two of them and the kids are both fun & heartwarming. It makes you and Ana see Blake in another light.

Throw in Ana's business partne

Family and community, love and trust are the heart of this beautiful story by Annie Seaton. And the gorgeous West Coast around Half Moon Bay.

It’s been ten years since Ana and Blake shared a student house. Neither has forgotten the other and when they meet up again, the attraction is stronger than ever. But Anastasia Delaney and Blake Buchanan are opposites in everything, especially when it comes to business practice. A national chain has bought out the hardware store from which Ana and the twins

I love all Annie Seaton's books and this one is no exception.. This is a beautiful love story.. Blake Buchanan and Anastasia Delaney were room mates in college.. they had a one night stand... 10 years later they meet up... neither had forgotten the other one.. Ana and Blake had me laughing out loud and smiling with their amusing behaviour and their bantering... They both knew how to press each other buttons to get each other all worked up.. 3 1/2 Stars - This is the first of the Entangled Bliss line for me. I didn't quite realise until I arrived at the end and realised we never entered the bedroom except to get changed and put on perfume.

This is a sweet story with a vague reunion flavour. Ten years ago Ana and Blake had a moment when they shared a house while she was in college. She left immediately to look after her ill mother and they lost touch. Now Blake is back and he has the hardware store in Nebbiton: Half Moon Bay, in his s

I loved Tangling with the CEO, I couldn't put it down until I finished it :)

I've read a lot of Entangled Bliss books and I think this could well be one of my favourites.

Ana and Blake had me laughing and smiling with their antics and banter. They both knew what buttons to press to get the other one all worked up ;)

This story ticked all the boxes for me, a swoony H, a strong h, fun friends and a crazy family who love unconditionally.

Tangling with the CEO was a fun, quick read. Ana and Blake were great characters. They were easy to relate to and I felt a definite connection to them both.

Ana and Blake knew each other in college, and after one night together Ana leaves to take care of her sick mother without so much as a note. Ten years later, Blake's back and his company is taking over the local hardware store where she works. To try to save her job, she makes an appointment to see him in the hopes of reminding him of their f

Tangling with the CEO is a great addition to the Bliss line (and I have read many!). Captivating and romantic, it's sweet, low angst yet not without frustration, touching, heartfelt and is filled with wonderful endearing characters. And with five under eight's playing a huge part it's not short on the humour (and stress) that kids bring.

I loved both Blake and Anastasia. Thoughtful, romantic, witty and completely sexy in a boy next door type-of-way, Blake's not perfect, isn't afraid to ask for h

Just finished reading this and I loved it! This is a great story to read on a blustery day with a great ending. I love Annie Seaton's writing style. It is easy to read with enough details to paint a mental picture but not cumbersome with unnecessary details. Her characters are very real and her story line is always fun. Glad I read this book.

Blake is a businessman that sees figures. Ana is a businesswoman that is compassionate with people and even if they don’t make much it’s what they have done to help the community. Can these two people that love each other come together?

This book is refreshing and captivating, it made me laugh but it also made me want to lock both Ana and Blake in a room so they could finally talk about why Ana had her appointment with him. I love how I was able to see Blake let go and have some fun with his niec

This review pertains to Tangling with the CEO, by Annie Seaton. Thank you to Netgalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC for the opportunity to read and review this book. This was my first time reading anything by Annie Seaton, and I thoroughly enjoyed her writing style and story. Since finishing, I have downloaded a few other books to read and enjoy. This story, which is part of her Half Moon Bay series, follows Anastasia Delaney and Blake Buchanan. The two are former college housemates who shared ...more

When I read a book by a new to me author I'm hoping for the feels. Some reason to go back for more. Annie Seaton certainly provides the feels in this wonderful reunion story.
Anastasia Delaney and Blake Buchanan were college roommates. They were opposites with an undeniable attraction.
When they gave in to that attraction and Ana left giving no explanation, she wasn't expecting to need his help years later. Those differences are still there. Ana is still feisty and impetuous and Blake likes his l

Oh, look, another small town novel where the lady works at a job that probably doesn't pay anything. In this case, it bothered me a little more than usual because it was a big part of the conflict - it just felt unrealistic. But that aside, I liked the characters, and I liked the use of kids to bring them closer. (Unexpectedly acquiring a baby trope! And also four other kids!) Basically this was fine, but not the romance of the century.

I received this book through Netgalley for an honest review.

I was in need of a sweet Contemporary romance and that’s what I got!

The writing style is perfect for this genre of book, easy and simple but never neglecting the emotions, it caught my attention right away and never released me.

The characters are interesting, sweet, have flaws which is very important to have a story that isn’t one dimensional and they bring a sense of family

In Tangling with the CEO, Blake Buchanan and Anastasia Delaney get the opportunity to reconnect after 10 years. The problem, 10 years ago Ana left without word to Blake, and now, without even knowing it, Blake will be taking over the little hometown hardware store Ana runs her restoration business from. Despite their differences in opinion regarding business practices, a connection had always been simmering between them and it is fun to see how they reconnect.

Happy release day Annie Seaton!

Tangling with the CEO immediately thrusts you into the very different lives of Ana and Blake. After 10 years of unanswered questions and no contact, these two are brought back together when their work lives collide. Even though it's been a decade since these two have seen each other, their chemistry is stronger than ever, making it difficult for them to speak to one another without feeling the love they have for one another.

I really enjoyed this story. It is a sweet and gentle story of a small town charitable woman and the man she last saw 10 years ago in college. He's a high powered business exec who is trying to bring big business to her beloved town. Though they are vastly different sparks fly. This story is funny and touching and it's a great read I recommend to everyone.

This was a really quick, easy read that I’ve been sitting on for a while. I enjoyed the storyline, but never felt a connection to the characters. I also wasn’t always sure about the chemistry between Blake and Ana. I think some of the best scenes were when Blake’s niece and nephews were involved. They added a lot of levity to the story when it was needed.

There were pieces of this story that I really enjoyed which kept me reading. I don’t know if I will read more in the series or by this author

It was hard not to enjoy Tangling with the CEO which features both reunited lovers and opposites attract both in the same couple. When I first saw this pop up on NetGalley, I was really excited to read this! I love the idea of falling in love with a sexy CEO! With that in mind, while I really liked the idea behind Tangling with the CEO, the novel fell a little short for me. I don't know if it's because I don't read a whole lot of adult romances or what, but they seem to lack some of the steam and angst I crave from new adult. The storyline was sweet and I liked Ana and Blake for the most part, but this wasn't one that real ...more

I do love a good story that centers around California, after all it's my home state. I do love when I find things that pertain to California and know that you can't really find them anywhere, but there. For instance in the story, you have Olallieberries. Honestly, like the heroine in the story, I'm not a big fan of the berries. For those who don't know what they are, they are they kind of look like a blackberry, but they have a different taste. Anyway, I should really t
I'm not giving this book 1 star because I did finish it and it wasn't a bad novel per se, just completely bland and unappealing to me.

Tangling with the CEO was a light romance with low levels of angst. Usually I’d be on board for this combo (since I'm not an angst lover), except all levels of emotion were low in this one. I didn't laugh once. I didn't even smile. I didn't feel sexy vibes (when I pick up a romance novel I expect sexy times). In fact the whole book was kinda dull, and the main rea

From the start I liked the direction this book was going. In saying this I find story lines like this somewhat unbelievable. You were college roommates somewhat in love. Though it went unsaid. Then an emergency takes place. You leave in a rush. I understand the initial leaving in a panic. BUT... You never contact this person your were basically best friends with for friendly support or to tell them what happened. Ehhhhhh, not buying that.

Any who...

This was an enjoyable read, and a promising start to a new series. I like that the Bliss line is one I can share with my 14-year-old without having to worry about her learning too much too soon :)

What I liked:

- The premise of the novel--I love the hero/heroine with a past, especially when that past involved a mystery/misunderstanding

- Blake's niece and nephews (and their dog)--what a fun group! They made for a nice ice-breaker to ease Blake and A

This week I was fortunate to receive an ARC copy of Annie Seaton’s upcoming romance novel, Tangling with the CEO courtesy of Entangled Publishing’s ‘Bliss’ department. For those who don’t know, the Entangled’s Bliss category is made up of stories that focus on family, home, and community told with a contemporary edge that reflects the trials and tribulations of modern love in America.

Tangling with the CEO is set against the backdrop of a small Californian town and Seaton quite genuinely recounts

Can a rocky past with her ex college housemate and one-time lover help Ana keep her restoration job when his company has just taken over the store she works at?

Blake and Ana shared a house during college and constantly had fights on principle and tidiness before that last night where it all came to a head, leading to one incredible night together. Then Ana gets the call from her mother saying she has less than a year

This reasonably short book looks to be the first in a series, the hero and heroine Blake and Ana have a history - and it's about to be kick-started...(slight spoilers ahead)

Set in San Francisco, Blake is the CEO in question - and Ana is, unfortunately for her - likely to lose her job along with her friends in the restoration department of a local hardware store.

Ana has an appointment to see Blake about their future - but on turning u

Anastasia Delaney is one of three women who love to restore things. Blake Buchanan has a business meeting with Ana. They also share a past history together. And then a family emergency adds some spice into the mix. And that is the moment that Annie had me hooked.

Annie Seaton wrote a charming, sweet romance. Blake and Anastasia are both passionate about their business beliefs, which adds plenty of drama to the story. I loved watching them dance around their differences. Even better, was watching Blake come to the realization that he'd never find true happiness in a business merger. I really enjoyed his willingness to accept that he wanted Ana in his life. The supporting characters (especially Blake's niece and nephews) were all a joy to read about. I'm l ...more

I really wanted to like this a whole lot more than I did as the summary looked really promising (and kudos for giving the heroine an unusual job (for a woman anyway)).
