Luke Kessler. Luke. My heart broke for Luke while reading Accidentally on Purpose. He got the short end of the stick for sure. Worth the Fight is essentially the last half or so of AoP from Luke’s p.o.v. I didn’t love it quite as much as AoP or Worthy of Redemption. Maybe because I have read a lot of it in AoP already? Regardless, it was still a great and well written read.
FYI- If you haven’t read Accidentally on Purpose- there WILL be storyline spoilers for that book in this review!

Holy Amaze Balls! Wow, wow, wow… Worth The Fight lived up to its expectation and I am so in love with everything about it! Luke and I had a love hate relationship since the first book, Accidentally on Purpose. I knew Luke was a good guy; he is the guy you marry and have lots of perfect, beautiful babies with but I was a Kyle fan… I even still wanted Kyle & Emmy together after reading book two, Worthy of Redemption but after reading Worth The Fight all I have to say is Emmy and Luke are suppose t ...more

“We saved each other. We fought for each other and our lives together. We are worth the fight.”
This is the third and final book of the Accidentally on Purpose series and you must have read the others before reading Worth The Fight.

Trigger Warnings ⚠️
- Cheating
- Love Triangle
- Butthurt Alphahole (in the beginning)
- Also, in my opinion the last 28% of this book was unnecessary.
That being said, if what I wrote 👆🏽 didn’t put you off, I highly recommend this book. This is my go-to reread when I’m in the mood for some angst. I love how Joe Arden was able to masterfully bring to life Luke’s emotions and trust me there’s a lot.

There are very few love triangle books or series I’ve come to love. The AOP series is definitely one of them. These books were highly erotic and very emotional. They were filled with such angst, at times I wanted to destroy my kindle out of sheer frustration. Needless to say, it was that moving.

I don't read Love Triangles that often. Just because it always drives me crazy going back and forth between the two. And wondering who will they end up with in the end and who will end up heartbroken. Its never a HEA all around. But there are exceptions….and this is one of those exceptions!
My two favorite love triangle trilogies are the "Thoughtless" series by S.C. Stephens & THIS! The AOP series gives such a heartfelt love triangle that leaves you coming back for more! I really enjoyed thi ...more

Ok I was not really interested in reading this book when I read the blurb. I felt like what does Luke have to say that I did not already see happen in book 1 or 2. Well Luke has a WHOLE LOT to say. I again loved this book! Reading this book I learned we really knew nothing about Luke. Yes he is introduced in AOP. But like I said in my review of book 1 he was kinda" a non Mother F factor" lol. Well we were wrong. Reading Worth the Fight I learned so much about Luke and Emmy it was like meeitn the

So, I haven’t written a review in a long long while, but I had to for this book…because I loved it and I love this author. This is book three in the ‘Accidently on Purpose’ series, and is from Luke’s POV. It was heartbreakingly beautiful and I want to read it again and again.

I remember reading this quote in the first book and feeling that gut-wrenching, deep pain in the pit of your stomach’ feeling . I felt the pain Luke was feeling and felt so bad for him. Reading it again in this book, it still had the same effect on me. I might have been in the minority

I have to say, this book took me completely by surprise. Like all triangles, people have their favorites, the guy or girl they're rooting for to get the object of their affection. I was an unrepentant Kyle fangirl, and that even includes after the ending of the 1st book when all of that horrible stuff took place. I LOVED Kyle and rooted for him to get his act together and get the girl. Luke was not someone I hated or despised. For me, he was just there, not acting as his own person, but merely t

I can't say I hated this book but rather I was just bored. This was a total retell of AOP 1 and AOP 2 and I would have been ok with that if I knew that but rather I thought this was going to be a continuation of LUKE and Emmy with new struggles not rehashing the old. LUKE was the kind of character who said what was on his mind so I alrwady knrw how he felt from AOP 1 and 2. I loved AOP 1 and 2. AOP 1 was so different than other books I read. I absolutely adore this series! I loved the previous two books and this one I loved even more. It was definitely my favourite.

In this 3rd book in the Accidentally on Purpose series we finally get Luke's story. This book really does need to be read after Accidentally on Purpose and Worthy of Redemption since it spans time periods of both stories, and in order to really get the full impact of this story it helps to know the other characters and situations.

This is Lukes book and covers his POV of book 1 - AOF and beyond. It fills in the gaps and we see what Luke felt when he was separated from Emmy and also once she and Lucas came to live with him.
I will always be Team Kyle and thought I understood why Emmy chose Luke over Kyle. Luke was a safe choice plus he was the baby daddy right? Well my opinion of Luke as this sweet, generous and lovely man who adored Emmy was definitely shattered when I started reading this book.

I LOVE this series!! There is just something about the details LD writes about that I relate to. Whether its a sex scene ;) or song she adds I just connect with her books and characters.
Who knew all this stuff was going on with Luke. Good thing she gave us this book so we could see everything through Luke's eyes. All the shit he put up with, and how much it broke him.

I was blown away by this trilogy.
This the third and final part was Luke's story and I was very apprehensive going into it as I was quite content where that story was left in part one. Sometimes retelling the same story from another point of view works well, you learn something that you didn't know and you get a fuller understanding of the story as a whole and other times it's just a tedious change of pronoun. This went further than I'd hoped for in that it gave me a fuller understanding of the s ...more

I was super stoked when I saw that L.D. Davis’ Worth the Fight was finally available in audio form, Worth the Fight is the final audiobook in the Accidentally On Purpose trilogy, and the first audiobook AOP was released 3 ½ years ago. 5 stars for whole Trilogy, but especially for Luke and Emmy.
Finally a book about GOOD GUY. I am so sick of billionaires, used to be manwhores and bad guys who are good only for this one particular woman.
Luke Kessler is a real man, he knows how to love and how to fight for his love.

I am a huge fan of this series and have always loved Luke so of course I could not wait to get my hands on this books and see his side of the story. I can honestly say that I am not the biggest fan of series. I hate cliffhangers and then being the impatient person I am, I hate the wait in between books. Also, it’s seldom that the third book in a series is as good as the first two. But, in LD Davis’ case, she floored me with this book, Worth the Fight. Yes, Worth the Fight is the third book in her Accidentally on Purpose series but it was also my favorite of the three. The story was told in Luke’s point of view (POV), which in my opinion was

This series is amazing. It is real life situations, whether it's politically correct or not. Worth The Fight is a POV well written. Unlike other POV's, L.D. Davis did a wonderful job at not repeating too much of what we've already read in the series, some could not be helped, it was simply needed.

“ravenous.” I nodded in agreement and started to get my head together. My fight with Emmy was still fresh, but I needed to focus. With some effort, I was able to push her out of my mind and prepare myself for battle with Vivian. “I hope you are in a better state of mind today, Mr. Kessler,” Judge Marsen said a half hour later. “I am. I apologize for my behavior, your Honor,” I said sincerely, and then added. “Bad hair day.” A few snickers arose from the few people seated behind me, but the judge was not amused and neither was her bailiff.
