Since the publication of Fancy Nancy, Jane O'Connor's closet now boasts so many boas, tiaras, and sparkly ensembles that sometimes friends do not recognize her on the street. She still resides (that's a fancy word for lives) in New York City with her family and their canine companion, Arrow. --from the publisher's website
i ordered this book on scholastic. i remember being disappointed that it was actually just a book full of menus, and not a story, and i never did try any of the recipes. however the pictures were captivating, and the book still retained all of the magic of scholastic. oh the painful nostalgia invoked in thinking of scholastic weekly! those newspaper sheets with so many book options, and poster options, all of which filled me with longing! god, the nostalgia hurts!
omg i had this as a kid, and then bought it off ebay as an adult. good times. totally good times......i haven't made anything from it since i got it....and i probably won't, but it's so much a part of my childhood, that it's just great having it in my possession.....
