Position of the Day #2
Position of the Day Playbook: Sex Every Day in Every Way
A position a day keeps the love doctor away
A follow-up to the wildly successful Position of the Day from the editors of Nerve.com: yes, yes, YES! It seems that readers do, in fact, want to have sex every day of the year. Picking up where its outrageously successful predecessor, um, got off is Position of the Day Playbook, featuring 366 erotic couplings packed into one chunky, inspiring, and hilarious compendium.
Following the publication of Position of the Day, Nerve was bombarded with reader comments: Do any of the positions work better with equipment say, a six-pack and a helmet? And, hey, do I still need to go to the gym if I'm regularly having sex upside down with my head on a chair and my feet wrapped around my lover's neck? Nerve has tried to address these concerns and others in this latest edition. A team of nimble, limber, and extremely attractive volunteers selflessly ventured to the laboratory for months of research and the results of those experiments are now available!
• Each sexual position comes with an estimated caloric expenditure (for each person involved), a list of possible side effects (leg cramp, lawsuit), and equipment recommendations (hanging bar, stethoscope, cowboy hat)
• Includes a follow-up section for comments and rating boxes for the reader to fill out
• Nerve.com has been publishing provocative essays and photography, stimulating reporting, and side-splitting commentary on a daily basis since 1997. Described by Entertainment Weekly as "Playboy's body with the New Yorker's brain," Nerve has won numerous awards, including a Forbes "Best of the Web" selection in 2004
This book is a fun way to keep things exciting and put the spice and adventure back into your relationship.
With 366 positions of varying degrees of difficulty for every day of the year — including leap year!
• Great bachelorette and Valentine's Day gift
• All at once informational and humorous
• Publisher's note: Should parties find themselves stuck in one of the positions, they are advised to contact 911 immediately and neither Chronicle Books nor Nerve directly

This is a very unusual book, not only does it have sex positions (illustrated by clear line-drawings showing, if not detail, at least the mechanics) but it also has the calories expended by him and her per position. Now you can plan dinner and .... to fit in with your diet.
Nothing for the solo customer though!

This book was given to me by my sister, as a gag. I learned that there is nothing more creative than the human mind. And it gave me the idea that the good people at Nerve.com have great staff meetings.

ummm...this may come to haunt me but...a little coconut oil, warm up stretches and strong intentions and you're sure to end up where I sit right...barefoot, pregnant and lovin it!

OMG!!!!!! I am still laughing about some of this stuff... I dont even see how you can do over HALF of the positions unless you weigh like 98 lbs and your partner can bench an easy 200lbs.
One thing I gotta say is... this book gives you a great way to get out of paying for your tolls at a toll booth..lol...
I bet it's good to know that when I'm at work at the bookstore we like to crack up at stuff like this.

Hilarious! Today's position involves a rocking chair and looks very uncomfortable. I think I'll pass on this one today, but a very funny book indeed! Especially for couples seeking new ideas to spark up their sex lives.

I ADORE this book. It has great and creative new ideas and is ALWAYS good for commentary when you and your girlfriends are sitting around sharing a bottle of wine!

Very enlightening

When I found this in a shop in So. Calif. while on vacation, I was practically rolling on the floor laughing, so I bought it. It's hysterical and yet...inspirational, enlightening, amazingly even a turn-on (I know! These are only pencil drawings that remind me of crime-scene chalk drawings having sex in weird positions). Each position has a title, like 'Tickle Me Elmo' that will have you laughing. And then when you read the calories spent (him and her are different, depending on the position and who is doing the most work), any hazards or optional equipment suggestions, you may find yourself wiping tears from laughing so hard. There's a scale that you can mark how you rate that particular position and a place to jot notes. Love it!

If you are in the right frame of mind you will find these sketches very funny. You and partner will feel more creative after sifting through these suggestions. Of course, most of them are impossible and many are duplications. But no matter, they will loosen you up mentally. Note that I was glad that the authors didn't forget about same sex couples. There are a few apropo sketches.

Fun book to leaf through, although, I admit, many of the positions seem to be repeats (what can you say? creative, yes; repetitious? also yes). There are only so many positions a couple can get into.
Not bad, but not a book I would own.

WAY high absurd factor. This book includes things like, 'airplane' which basically means holding your arms out (and presumably saying "Vroom vroom?" Or 'lamp' which basically involves someone holding a lamp. These guys were REALLLY reaching, but it's good for a giggle with your sweetheart.

Completely useless but hilarious gutter fun!

This book was ok, a few interesting positions.
Most of it is for laughs and some of the positions are repeats with different names for them.
Good for some laughs, that's about it.

Mostly hilarious (the names!) but occasionally inspirational ;)

This book shows 365 sex positions for every day. But id say 90% of them are straight up undoable or weird as fuck. Great images! Shows how many calories you lose for him and her, that's cool. You have space for comments to write for each position.

Well, If one wants to get fit, and have the edge on Yoga, then this adult book is worth reading, being old and fat and not so supple has caused for the impossible to be asked for, and many a laugh along the way.
But the fun is in the trying and the occasion surprise
