This was a great overview of a variety of topics in philosophy of science. Not knowing much physics, I admit the two chapters on Space-Time Physics and Interpreting Quantum Theories were nearly impenetrable to me. The chapters on topics closer to my knowledge base were very interesting and provided lots of references to look up later. My favourite chapters were probably the ones on Explanation, Evolution, Cognitive Science and Feminist Philosophy of Science. The first two chapters might serve well as general introductions to philosophy of science for newcomers, but I'd say that otherwise some existing familiarity with the philosophical and scientific topics discussed would make the text more accessible. Overall, the book nicely maps out the landscape of a variety of work in philosophy of science.
