Swedish author Patrick Hall first started his career in January 2012; that is when he began to write his debut novel, The Winds of Change. During the summer, he also conceived of what would become his debut publication, a trilogy of novelettes called Blades in the Dark, a prequel of sorts to The Winds of Change. These two books were the fruition of a long quest to tell stories -- to be a storytell Swedish author Patrick Hall first started his career in January 2012; that is when he began to write his debut novel, The Winds of Change. During the summer, he also conceived of what would become his debut publication, a trilogy of novelettes called Blades in the Dark, a prequel of sorts to The Winds of Change. These two books were the fruition of a long quest to tell stories -- to be a storyteller.

Even as a little boy, Hall had had an interest in the art of writing; it has been a lifelong passion of his to write. And yet, it was not until 2012 when he first thought of doing it professionally. That became his new dream, not simply writing for himself, but also for others. With a burning passion for writing speculative fiction (fantasy, science fiction, horror, etcetera), he penned two epic stories. Blades in the Dark and The Winds of Change thus became the realization of Hall's dreams of becoming a professional storyteller.

Blades in the Dark became his debut publication on October 28, 2013, when part one was released as an e-book and the entire trilogy was published as a paperback edition. Parts two and three as e-books followed on November 11 and November 25, the same year. His debut novel was then published on December 9, 2013; this novel was The Winds of Change, the culmination of Hall's burning passion for fiction. And with this fiery stride, more epic journeys are sure to follow.

This experience has taught Hall that writing is the only logical thing for him to do; it is the one thing he can see himself doing for the rest of his life. The first leg of the journey may be behind him, but the rest of his life does, indeed, lie ahead, waiting to be uncovered and put on paper.

After creating his website www.authorpatrickhall.com in late 2013 and becoming more active on his blog and social media in 2014, Hall found his political and intellectual voice, as one of those scary, godless, progressive socialists. Human rights, animal rights, science, and religion from an atheist's perspective are some of his favorite topics about which to write, both as blog posts and also as topics and themes in his novels.

Hall hopes to make the world just a tiny bit better and fill it with just a little bit of joy, while doing what he loves. And he encourages others to do the same. Together, we can make the world a better place, where the change-fearing dogma of conservatism does not get in the way of equality and peace.
