This was a good read and I found myself sniffling a few times…..but the story was kinda predictable. Now that doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it because I fell in love with Will and Brooks….well – Brooks I did, then I didn’t, then I did, then I didn’t….you get the

I first saw this book up on NetGalley however I ended up borrowing it from Kindle Unlimited instead. I wasn't sure enough about it to request it for review as I didn't want to feel obligated to review it. Regardless, when I saw I could borrow it it seemed like the perfect solution.

In general this was an okay read. I liked the concept and bigger picture in the book but it wasn't without its fault.

Firstly, the start intrigued me. The prologue was great and had me hooked instantly. I felt for the

Where to start with this one? It made my heart skip a beat on more than one occasion. It’s so hard to put all my emotions into this review because it’s an emotional roller coaster ride from start to finish. This book is so well written and consumed my life for a few hours. I couldn’t stop once I got started and stayed up until wee hours of the morning because I had to know how everything would play out.

Tragedy hits Vivian right from the get go. She is heart broken and vows to find out who

Forgive us our trespasses what a title right?

The prologue draws you in; leaving you wondering just how does this title fit into the story. The story begins with Vivian reliving the moment her life changed forever…the death of her father. We then fast forward and meet Vivian in college trying desperately to get away from the small town she grew up in. She was tired of being “that girl whose father was killed, the whispers,

Forgive Us Our Trespasses by M.L. Steinbrunn is a really great read, and I enjoyed it very much. This was the first book I read by this author and it will not be my last!

Vivian is a girl who at a young age loses her father as he is murdered. Vivian and her two sisters and Mom stayed in the small town they lived in and it was very difficult and stifling to grow up there as everybody was never themselves around Vivian or her family, not wanting to say the wrong thing, and her mother was a weak

This is my 5 snowflake review for Forgive Us Our Trespasses by M.L. Steinbrunn.

Forgive us our Trespasses follow the path of Vivian, a young woman who has had to deal with heartbreak at every turn. When Vivian is 5 years old she makes a vow to herself to never let someone hurt her again after her father is murdered. When she enters college she is a very reserved. She doesn’t trust easily and doesn’t want anything to do with someone who has the potential to hurt her. When she meets Brooks Ryan she

After a 5 year old girl’s father is murdered, she vows to never allow anyone to get close to her again because the pain of losing someone is too much to bear. This book picks up 13 years later when she begins college. She will make new friends and meet the one man who could finally teach her to love again or destroy her emotionally. Forgive Us Our Trespasses. This book immediately caught my attention based on its title. I am a Catholic so I recognised The Lords Prayer in these three different title. And it was a book I greatly enjoyed. Vivian had endured so much heartbreak. From losing her dad, to losing Brooks to losing her husband Will. I swear my heart broke along with hers, and tears were shed too. But I understood how losing the most important people to you will make you appreciate life more. And that everything ...more

Holy Sh!t! Get ready for a roller coaster ride. Grab a box of tissues before you strap yourself in, also. OMG! I don't even know what to say about this book. I am seriously at a loss for words. I knew it was going to be amazing. ML is a seriously awesome person and author. I didn't expect what I got. I'm still sporting a cry headache and I'm going to have to take some time to digest it all.

Forgive Us Our Trespasses is a deeply moving and sincerely breathtaking journey into crushing pain and mind-numbing bliss that will leave your head spinning and your heart fighting to survive. What you find within these pages is a story that will sweep you away into a beautifully heart-wrenching world that shines so brightly amid the deep, dark patches of pain and regret the permeate it. There can’t be light without darkness and without darkness we can never truly appreciate the warmth and joy ...more

What can I say about this book? Just from looking at the title and book cover I was intrigued. "Forgive Us Our Trespasses" sounds so bleak, right? Well I can tell you that this book will surprise you.

The main character, Vivian, loses her father to a tragic accident when she is five years old, and that leaves her guarded about getting close to anyone for any reason. ML Steinbrunn had me crying in the prologue. THE PROLOGUE!! And I can say just how rare that is for me... to cry over a book for

I won this book during a takeover but didn't read what it was about before I started it. I wasn't expecting to get so invested in the story so early but that prologue gutted me and kept me flipping the pages.

Forgive Us Our Trespasses follows the story of Vivian. We first meet her as a hopeful and outgoing young girl. Then tragedy strikes and changes her. Flash forward and Vivian is starting college. She is reserved yet ready to make the most of her college experience. I loved her shy self

Like any good story will do, Forgive Us Our Trespasses had me hooked at the prologue. A story line involving fathers and daughters always pulls at my heart, and this novel was no exception.

Vivian and her sisters tragically lose their father at a young age. Faced with a lifetime of stares and whispers from their small Colorado community, Viv is thrilled to start fresh at a college in the city. There she forms strong bonds with her roommates, Jen, Carly, and Campbell (love Campbell!) and meets the

Forgive Us Our Trespasses is a book about lost love and redemption. The story begins in a college town outside of Denver and focuses on Vivian and her three roommates. Freshman year is exciting with new people, classes and of course the cute guys. After settling in for a movie night, Vivian, Jen, Cam and Carly fall asleep in their living room watching chick flicks. Waking groggily in the middle of the night and making it back to their beds, they are startled to find two guys sleeping, more like ...more

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved all the characters, I felt for them, I wanted them to be happy!!! Although there was not a real love triangle, I loved both Will and Brooks and wanted Vivian to be with both of them!!!! If she had have to have made a choice, who knows how she would have done it!!! This book has basically 2 parts to it. The first part is about Books and Vivian's time together in college, and the second part is when

JAW dropping suspense, gut wrenching heartache, and a happy ever after? YES PLEASE!!!!

Simple romance with a shockingly twisted plot!

ML Steinbrunn takes you through the emotionally tragic heartache that Vivian lives through. Secrets are covered by lies, which always find their way to reveal the truth. No matter how hard you try to cover it up.

A tragedy of her childhood haunts Vivian through adulthood, where she is finally faced with the ghosts of her past. But it is the abundance of tragedies

Guilt and Forgiveness, two powerful emotions that can destroy equally and painfully. This book shows us how, from the ashes of guilt forgiveness is also the saving grace of a love that will blow you away.

"It is in this moment that I become the master of emotional avoidance. I vow never to get too close to people, to love people, because opening yourself up to others creates weakness. That weakness is what gets you hurt."
In this book we meet Vivian who lost her father at a young age and lost trust in men. She goes to college, and meets Brooks who is a playboy. And being such the stud he is, he immediately falls for her and becomes a changed man. I seriously couldn't believe how much he changed

This book has had me in an in between rating for the last several hours. I loved Brooks and Vivian (Clover) - there was immediate attraction and chemistry. Their relationship grew and over time her heart thawed and she fell hard for him. Brooks fell the moment he set his eyes upon hers that they would spend forever together. The question remained - could they over look the hurt, deceit and lies to move forward together or would they follow a different path? This story picks back up at their ten ...more

Vivian and Brooks met in college. Brooks was a player. Vivian's father was murdered when she was a child so she led a pretty sheltered life.

After a night of partying Brooks and his friend, Will, stumbled into the co-ed dorm at 2 a.m. Crashing right into the room that belonged to Vivian, Jen, Carlyle and Campbell..accidentally.

Immediately the girls welcomed their friendship with Will. They already sensed the "player" vibe in Brooks though . He was mesmerized with Vivian from the beginning. He

I wanted to read this book because I have the opportunity to meet ML Steinbrunn at a book event next month. I was caught by the cover of the book and decided to check it out.
I was a little wary at first. It seemed like it was headed in an NA romance direction rather than a contemporary and I was a little put off. As I kept reading it definitely switched to a contemporary vibe and I got caught up in the story.
I loved getting to know Viv & Brooks. Viv is one of

I really enjoyed this book, I was hooked from the sample and just HAD to purchase and read on.

We follow Vivian, a girl who loses her father at an early age and can't wait to get out of her home town to start a fresh and not have to listen to the town gossip and whispering. She starts college and meets her roommates Jen, Campbell & Carly.

This is a duel POV so we meet Brooks, a guy who knows he what all the girls want and uses that to his advantage to bed the girls on campus. His roommate Will

There is so much about this book that I like. The characters are great. The different personalities of the characters and their reactions/comments to situations was wonderful. I found myself laughing along with them many, many times while reading this book. There are also several tough emotional situations that the main characters go through that kept the emotions high. The story was believable and flowed well and kept me engaged in the book. I really liked the time transitions in the story. ...more
