Pioneering photojournalist Alfred Eisenstaedt's affinity for Martha's Vineyard began in the late 1930s, and since then he has rarely missed a summer's pilgrimage to the quaint American retreat. This journal/portfolio begins at Gay Head and moves east, completing a circle. 150 photos, 120 in color.
My parents took off for a tour of Cape Cod once I went to college. In their travels, they picked up this book. This is a good book about Martha's Vineyard. Very gorgeous photographs are accompanied by text to help explain the history of the area.
