Mazie’s boyfriend—photojournalist and sex god Ben Labeck—might be trouble on two very strong, very sexy legs, but he’s got no idea what he’s signing up for when he invites himself along to the family farm in Quail Hollow

4 stars!

Life and Love on the Lam is Stephanie Plum minus the annoying love triangle. Really enjoyable and the slightly over-the-top situations Mazie gets into just hilarious.

Damn, this book was so hilarious, and I couldn't put the book down, I read it in one sitting. Well I always read a book in one sitting. Ben that boy is all sorts of horny when Mazie wears certain things, "she wore ragged cut off jeans and a sleeveless pink shirt was clutching a big bunch of radishes. She was barefoot, and even across the room Ben could see her nipples through the fabric of her shirt. No bra! The message shot straight from his brain to his gonads." Ben is learning a few things ab ...more

It's official! Juliet Rosetti is going on my list of favorite authors!

Once again, Mazie and her antics, and quick wit, had me laughing until I was crying. In this one, Mazie goes home to Quail Hollow to help her brother with his kids while his wife has their new baby. And what do you know? Ben Labeck follows her there and they end up with a 13 year old murder mystery to solve. Oh! And let's not forget that Ben and Mazie have some relationship issues to work on.

While I like Ben, I loved the intr

Tangled Thing Called Love ( Life and Love on the Lam #3) by Juliet Rosetti is a 2014 Loveswept publication. I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

As usual for Mazie, life has thrown her another curve ball. Ben went off to L.A. to pursue his dreams of being a big time photojournalist. The longer he is away the fewer the calls and emails become until one day Mazie calls Ben only to have another woman answer the phone. To top it all off,

Mazie and Ben are at it again, proving that the course of true love never does run smooth, especially when it involves a disappearing beauty queen, two holy terrors with a potato gun, and the coolest grandmother ever to grace a farm.
Now back in her hometown and tasked with babysitting her nephews, Mazie doesn’t expect her maybe sometimes sort of boyfriend Ben to show up at the door. He’s determined to win her back, even if he’s not entirely sure why he lost her in the first place, but nothing w

This book was hilarious. Mazie has to go to her home town of Quail Hollow to take care of her nephews. While there, she gets involved in a beauty pageant and the mystery of what happened to a missing beauty queen. The mystery itself was really good and I found myself really interested into what happened to Fern. Mazie was her usual funny self but when paired up with her old friend Holly it was downright hilarious and laugh-out-loud funny. I think this book had a lot more romance than the previou ...more

Unfortunately, I wasn't really hooked to the story and the mystery in it about Fawn's death and the "curse". It was okay for me but it wasn't amazing. But even if I wasn't excited that much when reading this book, it was entertaining and I could see why people could find it funny. There were moments really nice especially with the twins Sam and Joey; they were cute little devils.

I wish Mazie had started something with Hoolihan. I was more interested i

Nancy Drew to the rescue!! Just kidding, but Mazie Maguire is back in a another hilarious and sexy new adventure with her beefcake sidekick Ben Labeck. Speaking of Nancy Drew I loved those damn books as a kid and couldn't stop once I started them. Much in the same way The Love and Life on the Lam series has kept me completely at Rosetti's mercy from the beginning. this time the peanut gallery has to solve a 13 year old disappearance that involves the towns beauty pageant.

Mazie and Ben are a coup

This is the first book I have read by Juliet Rossetti ; and I i found it to be a Light and easy read, with some incredibly humorous moments.
Mazie Maguire seems to have a knack for getting herself into trouble and luckily for her she has a very hunky boyfreind in Ben Labeck who seems to be there to rescue her!

Mazie, has gone home to Quail Hollow to help out with her twin nephews , while her sister in law is in th hospital on bed rest

Note: I received an eARC of this title from the from the publisher for my honest review. This in no way affected my opinion in my review.

'Tangled Thing Called Love' was a difficult book to rate.
You either loved it or hated it, I went with love.

Juliet Rosetti made all characters in the book to be very interesting and different, the plot was sometimes a little bit hard to follow, but all in one very interesting and you had the chance to find out yourself who was responsible for Miss Quail Hollow 2001's death.

It was mysterious, and warm. The characters m

More Mazie and Ben...I couldn't be happier! If you aren't snorting in laughter after the first few pages...you should go to a doctor, because something is definitely wrong with you. Mazie is this gorgeous, funny, spirited Midwestern gal who seems to attract trouble like a magnet. If you've enjoyed the Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich, you will probably enjoy this series; however, Mazie is far less incompetent and she has the guy...she just had trouble staying in a relationship with him. ...more

Tangled Thing Called Love is the latest adventure of ex-con Mazie Maguire and Bonaparte (Ben) Labeck. I really enjoyed this story which takes place in Mazie's hometown where she arrives to help take care of her twin 10 year old nephews while her sister in law is in the hospital on bed rest during the last weeks of her pregnancy. Ben arrives after his job in California turns out to not be perfect and spends most of the book trying to wi

Tangled Thing Called Love by Juliet Rosetti was a nice surprise. I rated it a 5 because it had a little of everything I love: smart heroine, sexy hero, romance, humor, and a mystery to solve. This author does it all. There’s plenty of steamy romance and Mazie and her family’s antics made me laugh…Out Loud!

Third book in the series and I'm still enjoying it so much! Although I'm getting a little bit annoyed with the fact that she and Labeck seem to break up over the lamest reasons at some point in the book, but hey, the book is still great.

I need to preface this review by saying Juliet Rosetti is quickly working her way into my favorite Top 5 author category!! In this 3rd installment of Mazie’s crazy life we get to follow Mazie home to her family farm, what ensues is hilarious and suspenseful. Of course we get Mr Ben Labeck back for the shenanigans and we watch him and Mazie try to untangle a disappearance of a young girl from 13 yrs prior. I don’t want to spoil the book, but there is plenty of Ben and Mazie hotness, plus a new ma ...more

I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book. The characters were great, the pacing good, great setting. An all around enjoyable story. Some things I thought were too obvious, or I just gave Mazie credit for being smarter than she is. I never would have left the dress there. It was too obvious that something would happen. I really thought she'd be too smart to get the truck alone, too. Of course, these things led to more humor and it was a fun book. I look ...more

Tangled Thing Called Love is the 3rd book in a series featuring Mazie and Ben. Mazie's a cute, resourceful fearless heroine: Ben is her gorgeous, nice, sexy boyfriend.

Juliet Rosetti's given Mazie a circle of kooky friends and relatives and added a murder or two for suspense and spice.

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for writing an honest review - and haven't read book 1 and 2 yet, but intend to now. Tangled Thing Called Love has been so much fun I look forward to reading the earlier

It's another hilarious adventure when Maize goes home to the farm! Trouble can find this character no matter what and it makes for a very entertaining read. The writing keeps the story moving along and the zany cast of characters are incredibly entertaining. For a fun light hearted read I recommend this one.

From time to time I'm gifted with or directed to something "I had better read", so I do and am usually rewarded. That's how I was introduced to Tony Hillerman and the Navaho Tribal Police series. The Mazie Maguire mysteries by Juliet Rosetti is in that category too; the original hook for me was that the stories took place in Wisconsin.
I survived childhood in a farming community near Green Bay. A cousin owned a bar in Sheboygan. Going to Milwaukee was a big event. On holidays while travelling to
