Try Me ~ 3.75 stars

Jeremy had a rough night and by the looks of his surroundings it seems he is bound to have even a rougher day. Taking a chance that a stranger might help him out, he tries to hitch a ride. Even in his dazed state he recognizes the voice of the woman who stopped to help -- Erica, the woman he never forgot.

I enjoyed the emotions brought to the page by the Diane Alberts. Each emotion that was portrayed by both Jeremy and Erica felt real and revealed a lot about their personalitie

TRY ME - 3 Stars

Try Me is the first, and shortest, novella in the Take a Chance series by Diane Alberts. Jeremy Addison is a 27 year old Marine who has found himself in Las Vegas for a little R&R… now if he could only remember how he ended up dumped on the side of a road in the desert. Jeremy is still nursing a broken heart seven years after the rejection of the only girl he has ever loved and the shattered friends

Try Me

Try Me was a very frustrating, but quick read. Despite not usually being into military romances, I was actually enjoying this one until the issues arrived. It was all very circular and repetitive, wasting a lot of this novella's few pages. Try Me starts with Jeremy on the side of the road, after coming out of the desert sunburned, dehydrated, and hung over. He's a Marine on leave, but his trip to Las Vegas isn't the relaxing vacation he had hoped for. Getting drunk and into a fight ends wi
* Received ARC for an honest review

I really was surprised on how much I enjoyed the Take a Chance Bundle. The stories deal with characters that are family and/or friends. Though different characters show up in various books, there is no need to have read the other books to read each one of these individually. However, I truly liked having them all together. It made it much more enjoyable and really felt much more connect to the characters. And then there was the book cover and all I can say is W

Overall 4 Stars!

Try Me (Take a Chance #1)
4 stars

Jeremy has never stopped loving Erica. When their lives unexpectedly cross paths again, he has another chance to win her heart, but the secret she's guarding could very well change things. I'm such a sucker for friends-to-lovers stories, and this one was a really cute one with a Marine on leave! Jeremy felt so unworthy of her, but he never gave up hope. In a nutshell, this is a short story of longing and acceptance that ignites into sensual romance
Thank you to InkSlinger PR and Entangled Publishing for allowing me to review an ARC of this book bundle!

This is the first time I've read anything by Diane Alberts, and I was pleasantly surprised. She has a way of bringing characters to life that I appreciate, and I look forward to reading more from her.

I'm not completely sure, but I think "Try Me" might have been my favourite story out of the four. It's always so unfortunate when a simple miscommunication ruins families and relationships, and t
Try Me: I really liked Jeremy Addison - he was everything I imagine a Marine to be. Strong, a little rough, and super tough guy, but with a heart. When he sees a chance to reconnect with the girl he's loved since high school, he hopes that he might have a chance. But she has been scarred emotionally in the years since they last saw each other and she may not be willing to let another in. This was a very sweet story that set the stage for all the rest of the stories to follow and it was a great k ...more

I enjoyed the series, but preferred some of the stories over others.
Try Me, Book 1, was my least favorite of the stories. I had a really hard time connecting Erica and Jeremy's characters. That being said, I'm glad I stuck with the series because I loved Book 2!
Book 2, Love Me was a great story about second chances. I adored Thomas Jones...he was alpha in all the right ways. He knew exactly what and who he wanted & wasn't afraid to go for it. Brianna, again, was a bit of a hard sell for me.

Try Me:

This was such a quick fast sexy heartwarming read for me. I loved Jeremy's character. I loved the way he would not let go it give up, his determination and his strength. He was so protective and went after what he wanted. Erica was an amazing character who was scared to trust and let her scars be healed. The pace of this book was rather fast and I would have loved to savor Jeremy and Erica more, but it was a great story with an emotional ending.

Love Me:

The second in this series. Loved Tho

All I can say is oh my goodness! This is by far one of my favorite bundles so far! I love how all of their lives intertwine. The first couple we meet.. he loved his best friends sister, but his best friend thinks he betrayed him .. and then theirs a twist that unraveled the love between all three.. can they get that back? Will she push him away? can he figure out why?

Then Thomas's story.. the twist and turns it takes.. I don't want to revile them because it would ruin it for you but it will hav

An absolute awesome series!! I love that this bundle includes all four books so I didnt have to wait after finishing the first one!
Try Me was just so sweet! Jeremy was one of those heros that you just love from the moment you meet him. My heart just broke for Erica because she didnt feel like she deserved Jeremy. It was a beautiful little story!
Love Me was a little longer than I expected! We met Thomas in the first book and I was hoping he'd get his own book and he did! Because of his previous

My rating: 3.5 of 5 ⭐

Sergeant Jeremy Addison finds himself on the side of a road in the middle of the desert after what apparently was a rough night, hung over and busted up. When a car stops beside him the last person he expects to step out is his old friend's little sister Erica, except Erica Is not so little anymore. Last time he saw her was seven years ago when he declared his feelings and she ran off.

He was bigger and more gorgeous than she remembers, despite the disheveled and brui

Love Me: This book was worth the read & the money spend...kind of! Good plot. Great characters although, they sometimes made stupid ass decisions. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating was because it was so short, only 17 chapters in total, and each chapter was a few pages long non were longer than 12 pages.

All the stories were nice, but the favorite was definitely Jeremy and Erika's story, so if you get a chance check it out, you won't be disappointed. They were all like and enjoyable with interesting supporting characters.
