I didn't realise this was a true story but it was a wonderful book which made me want to pack up my life and head of to beautiful places and explore. It sounded like a great trip and fantastic memories being made.

As recommended by Philip Howard, intriguing because I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I'll have to get to it soon.

This is a very pleasant holiday read. Actually it's good anytime! It shows how she dealt with her problems without wallowing in them. A very positive enjoyable story.

An enjoyable light read about a family fulfilling a long held dream to take six months out to tour Europe, after the author was diagnosed with a potentially life limiting disease, Vascular Ehlors Danlos. Fantastic read to remind you to take every opportunity you have! I loved this book, full of ups and downs following a family on their once in a lifetime trip across Europe. A real life account of events written by a mother of 3 travelling with her husband and children on an adventure of a lifetime. The writing style is honest and perfect for a good chuckle. Also raises great awareness for a lesser known disease that reminds you to take every opportunity life gives you
I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did.

Fabulous, fun entertaining rendition of a family's adventures around Europe after they take time out of everyday life, filling the 'mother' having survived a life threatening illness, recommended read.
