Not sure if I am a fan of Gavin. It's hard to like a man who runs out of his own child's funeral and leaves his girlfriend behind, never speaking to her again. Add to the fact, that fours years later he only sees her again by coincidence- it's not like he's even looking for her after all these year. The explanation of this decision in the last book never really cut it for me. Then the decisions he makes after that are just plain atrocious. In this book we get more flashback of what happened afte ...more

Ok...let me start off by saying that the first book, Forever Innocent, I loved...Yeah it was sad but it was a beautifully tragic love story. This book??? Well it ruined the whole story. I am not happy at all! In fact I am incredibly disappointed and feel I was led to falsely believe it had a HEA. This didn't have a happily ever after....not even close, not by a long shot in my opinion. From chapter 33 and on I wanted to stop reading it. The book went downhill to *sigh*...I will not get that nega ...more

“I’ll love you all your life”

Corabelle and Gavin have a long ways to go, but knowing they have each other makes it seem that they can make it through anything. Corabelle wakes up in the hospital, after one of her black-out stunts that has everyone worrying. Gavin vows to not leave her side, but having to deal with Corabelle’s parents and the pain they feel for their daughter, doesn’t make the family reunion as heartwarming as it once could have been.

Ugh! I. Can't. Even. This book had no HEA in my opinion. I can honestly say he has just ruined the name Gavin for me, because I will never be able to hear that name without wanting to bitchslap someone. I think the heroine should've told him to pack his bags and shove his proposal where the sun don't shine! He is selfish and a coward, I really despise him. I mean really what is wrong with you dude! I don’t even know what to think, I was devastated for Corabelle. She did not deserve anymore heart break from Gavin.

Forever Loved picked up exactly where Forever Innocent ended. Corabelle is in the hospital after taking a “swim” in the ocean and Gavin is doing everything he can to make things right with Corabelle. After nearly

I don't think I've cried so much in a book as much as I did with this one I just love Corabelle and Gavin so much I was emotionally invested in there HEA and the journey was turbulent and rocky and I almost didn't make it 85% in and I was so close to giving up I was like NO this can't be happening And WHY why would the author chose this I'm still devastated over it I can't not give to much away I don't want to spoil it for others I just didn't expect it to go that way I loved all the characters ...more

I must admit that, like most readers I'm sure, the description of Forever Loved did give me a bit of a fright, but I knew that Deanna Roy would give us one heck of a story, and I hoped that I would love it as much as I loved Forever Innocent, and you know what...I did!

Forever Loved isn't a light read. It makes you think, it makes you feel, and above all else it pulls you into the story. While it wasn't light a read, it was definitely fast because I didn't want to put it down at all! I already lo

No long, drawn out review here - it doesn't need it. & no spoilers or repeating the story, I'd rather you read it for yourself! :)

Forever Loved followed on beautifully from where we left off in Forever Innocent. Again I found Deanna's writing easy to read, it flows perfectly, and the emotions are portrayed so well but in a way that I found the reader doesn't drown in them.

I was happy with the end, however, me being me I wanted mor

"Forever Innocent" was such a beautiful yet heart breaking book that had me in floods of tears. Corabelle and Gavin story was so much more than just a second chance romance. It was about coming to terms with the loss of a child, it was about grieving and it was about redemption. The ending of the first book in the series left me a complete mess. It wasn't all hearts and flowers as I said in my review but it was hopefully the start of a journey that would get them as close to a HEA as they would ...more

Gavin walked away from it all and Corabelle was left to put herself back together again. Corabelle has struggled with the death of Finn, placing the blame on herself for smoking pot before she knew she was pregnant. Gavin dealt with his grief in his own way by having a vasectomy. Forever Loved by Deanna Roy was a beautifully honest and raw emotional journey of Corabelle and Gavin as they deal with their past, present and future. In this second installment of The Forever Series, Ms. Roy weaved the elements of guilt, loss, shame, love and healing throughout the book. In this emotionally charged book, Corabelle and Gavin’s story reminds us all that second chances is one of the greatest gif

I must admit, I have not read the first book of this series, Forever Innocence. However, it does need to be noted that I was neither confused while reading this, nor was I feeling like I was missing information. There were plenty of flashbacks within the story to recap and guide the reader along.

Furthermore, it should also be noted that this is not just some fluffy, light romance. This book is real. This book is deep. This book wrestles with true trauma. This is not a fairy tale, it's real life

If you read my reviews you know that I was rocked to my core by Forever Innocent. It blew me away in so many different ways. So to say that I was a little nervous to begin Forever Loved was an Forever-Loved-cover.jpgunderstatement. But after reading the teasers online I decided that I was ready to read it. Now don’t get me wrong by that statement, I would’ve read it either way (but I like I said I was nervous). I very rarely will miss a sequel to a book unless I didn’t like the first one.

The story carried straight on from Forever Innocent. What a journey these two have to go on.
Gavin finds out Rosa had Manuel and Rosa claims he is the father, after a vasectomy. I really felt for Corabelle but she turned out to be really strong and managed to get through all the problems thrown her way.
Tina and Jenny sound like great fun to be around love both their funky wild characters and dress sense.
The epilogue was really sweet Manuel copying Gavin and the cake shop with

I did not like the direction this follow up took. Because it only spanned a week at most, I didn't feel like the relationship was strengthened or problems were resolved. And the whole plot twist just pissed me off. That's not something I like to read about, especially when the whole first book is about getting over the fact that these two lost a child and Gavin got a vasectomy to further prevent that.

The writing style was pretty good, it was just the content I was disappointed in :(

Sorta hated the ending. period. I need more time between those two events in the last chapter. No resolve for me. made me mad. It is a pet peeve of mine to have an explosive event and then have it tied up in a nice package- like that is real life? like the characters have super human emotions that make them made out of steel and they don't have to take time to process major life news. It just really irritates me. ...more

I think Gavin and Corabelle belong together. I thought the ending was beautiful. However, I could not stand Gavin. Yes, he did care for Corabelle, but he made selfish choices. Yes, they were in the past and he was definitely supportive and caring in this book, but I still could never get over the hooker thing. Any man that frequents prostitutes is sleazy in my mind. I could care less how good of an excuse they like to think they have.

When corabelle doesn't want to seek help for her painful past finds it in an unexpected friendship she met through a doctor. Why did I read this book?! I should have just ended it with book 1. At least that was sort of a HEA. This book had probably the worst ending ever. Why?! Why why why?! I liked Gavin in book 1. Now the ending of that book just makes my stomach turn. UGH.

Needless to say, I will not be reading any more of this series.

Gavin is so unlikeable in this book and what’s with the piling more crap on Corabelle? Giving this book one star because the events and plot of this sequel was just horrible.

I’m going to continue onto book six and hope it is slightly better. The first book I thought was okay and had hoped I’d like this one even more.

I absolutely loved Forever Innocent and couldn't wait to get my hands on Forever Loved by Deanna Roy. Forever Loved is the second installment in her Forever Series, and is the continuation of Corabelle and Gavin's story. This is meant to be read after Forever Innocent and should not be read as a standalone. If you haven't read Forever Innocent, beware of spoilers in this review. As much as I was looking forward to reading this book, I have to
